confiscating money from players without warning or explanation should be put under the 2+2 microscope.

[/ QUOTE ]

Cliff notes of the GM's response:

1. You were warned - see the fine print in the T&C Disclosure when you signed up.
2. We did explain, we think you cheat.
3. Thanks for the monies, we might give it to the others.

I browse through these forums because I'm interested in topics such as these. They only confirm what I've always believed. I promise you, my experience at live poker is far more enjoyable than online.

The T/C are not a warning. heck, at this point I'm not sure if I'm cheating or not. Even though I don't use any programs with WSEX, I often play at stars and WSEX at the same time and I use autohotkey and PAHUD at stars. So even though I am playing WSEX with no computer program assistance of any kind, WSEX will/may show me running ahk/PAHUD/PT while playing at WSEX.

So am I cheating? More to the point, are my funds at risk of confiscation?

It is not without warning. It is in our rules which all players sign off on when they play with us.

[/ QUOTE ]

WSEX GM, are these specific rules readily accessible anywhere? Are you talking about this clause from the agreement file that is installed with the program?

[ QUOTE ]
Computer programs are not to be used to gain an advantage. Snowie will analyze every game played on our server and the detailed results pass some sophisticated algorithms. Any advantage a player could obtain by using Snowie or a similar program for playing decisions would thus be detected. A misuse of these programs will result in an immediate ban from our server.

[/ QUOTE ]

If so, and if you interpret that first statement broadly and in isolation, it would seem even programs like Poker Tracker are not allowed.

Even without any prove yet, the way he's posting and he's reaction and emotion tells me that DAC is already at 50% guilty of fault...now, let's turn him to the prison for scamming and fault.

Ummmm ... LOL you are cheating if we say you are, and yes, your funds will be siezed if we want to sieze them ... but don't worry we are goods guys, see all these kids here love us .. LOL

Edit: The GM says you can Appeal to the The Directorate of Offshore Gaming, of Antigua & Barbuda. Does anyone have any ideal whether you will get a fair hearing here? And what exactly will they be ruling on? The T&C are less then clear about 'cheating' as several posts have pointed out.

Maybe the posting style... rings a bell... with someone?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yup. I knew it after the first sentence.

It's Dids.

If I were Fred I would tease the sh*t out of all the whiners. I'd build up a huge, artificial player base full of loose-passive bots. After a few days of letting everyone get excited about '07 being the new '03, I'd tell eveyone to stick it up their asses- no more rakeback or bonuses.

K, I hope he doesn't really do this. Just sayin', though.
