Guitar Hero II on XBOX360. I can't wait!

trying to 100% songs tilts me so bad, I'm only on medium(can beat most songs on hard 5star some), but one stupid mistake, generally over half the way in and its restart time

It's clear from your leaderboard scores that you've been playing long enough to always finish quite well, so I meant the first time you attempted expert. I was looking for an approximatation of the learning curve and you'd likely be the lower bound on time needed to be able to 5-star songs on expert making you a good person to ask.

mmm a month or so? I use Scorehero Forums a lot. They have strategy for each song and a big online scoreboard. It's a lot easier to improve when you're competing all the time and not just trying to 5* but get the absolute best score possible.

Once you get good, you can usually 5 star a song on expert the first time through. Most songs you can get within a few tries if you go into practice mode on the hard parts; some songs just have really high 5-star thresholds and are difficult so those can take much longer.

I've been playing guitar for 15 years, and my wife just bought me GH2 two days ago. I rarely 5-star on hard at the moment. I haven't even tried expert. Medium is a cake-walk though. I guess I need a few more weeks.

I'm going to assume that the 360 controller is like the PS2 one. Just tilt it up to activate SP.

Kind of off-topic, but I'm considering getting one of them thin PS2's and Guitar Hero 1, as I'm pretty sure a new thin PS2 can only set you back a bit over $100, right? This a good deal?

And are these readily available? I don't want to get a PS2 to find out that GH1 is hard to find because of X360+GH2.
