I should add that the reason I never post in OOT anymore is because there's too much going on there for me to follow and get ANYTHING else done. A smaller forum like this I feel is much easier to fit into the schedule of a day, especially since I can be confident I'm getting mostly signal.

Since this forum is supposed to be quality discussion and what not, is there anyway that the profanity filter can be removed here? Id like to be able to use all the words in my vocabulary when im making quality posts, even if some of my words are to poo-poo and wee-wee for the rest of 2p2.

I mean if we are all going to be making posts that dont suck and having intelligent quality discussion about whatever, arent we mature enough to be able to handle it?

I know that I am not the greatest, or most popular poster on 2+2, but I would really like to get the chance to have posting status here.

A lot of my posts are snappy one liners (not as good as Ed, but I'm working on it), but I feel that I have made some good posts when it comes to more serious threads. I think that I would be able to help your forum, especially in regards to movies, sports, and advice (if for no other reason that I am older than most of the posters on the forums, so I see things from a different perspective).

If you choose not to add me to your list right now, that's cool; I won't take it as a personal affront. I just wanted to get my name in the mix as far as being considered goes.

Ask Golden_Rhino about going back to full time school as a 30+ year old man. (I'm sure there are people considering going back to school, but have some anxiety about it. I feel that this forum would be good for my thread because (hopefully) it will keep out the 'LOL schoolaments' , or the 'how hot are the chicks' type posts. I had a lot of anxiety about going back, and I think that I could be of real help now that I have almost finished my first year).

Don't know if I qualify for thread-starter status, but I'm sure I'll post in some threads started by others. Like others, I haven't posted in OOT for awhile for a lot of reasons. But this forum has my curiosity piqued.
