Yes and it won't even be close.

this is idiotic...he'll only win between 0-2 rings, to say it wont be close is a gross oversight

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Funny that the offense was better with Addai/Rhodes this year than it was with perennial pro bowler Edgerrin James last year.

[/ QUOTE ]

2003: 447 points scored; 5984 total yards
2004: 522; 6584
2005: 439; 5894
2006: 427; 6159

This is about pointless to debate in the middle of people's career.

Right now Manning is not the greatest QB of all time, and if he retired at the end of this year (let's assume a Super Bowl win) he probably wouldn't be in the top 5. Do I think he will END up there? I'd say he has a good chance. Don't know if he will end up better than Montana (number one in my eyes), but why debate it with so much left to play out?

Montana
Elway
Favre
Marino

Well if you are going to claim my statement is idiotic by using idiotic reasonings, then I can't really counter argue you now can I?

So, was this supposed to prove me wrong or support me?

Either way, use better evidence than points scored and total yards, which are both dependent on defense/special teams. Note that the Chicago Bears are tied for 2nd in points scored this year.

Year, Yards/Pass, Yards/Run

2003, 7.54, 3.74
2004, 9.00, 4.34
2005, 8.11, 3.66
2006, 7.89, 4.01

So, of the three prior years, only one was better than 2006 and the 2006 offense was better than the 2005 offense.
