If you are set on a new car between 20-30k, I really think the best bang for the buck is either a new WRX or a new Mazdaspeed 6. 2 Great reliable cars with impressive stats. The Mazda6 doesn't really turn heads but the interior is much nicer than people realize. Slap some tasteful rims on that baby and it'll look significantly better, even though the standard rims are fine.
