Folks,

Please don't get ticked off with Jay at NROG. He is doing a *superb* job, even if there are people who may feel he is premature. It is just as arguable that, from his viewpoint, he is doing his best to keep us up-to-date and informed. I am inclined to agree with him.

I am terribly grateful to Mr.K, Berge, NROG and Nate, ... among others, for keeping a bum like me informed of what is going on with the hoodlums on the hill. I hope I can return the favor someday. A big thank-you to all of you.

[No group hug for now, but I reserve the right to ask for a group hug after we know for sure the angel of death has passed us by].

aw, c'mon, no need to make it personal -- I certainly tried to stay away from doing that. I think we should realize that Jay adds to our discussion in a positive way. I just happen to believe he'd add even more if he used a little more restraint in his posts, that's all!

Appreciate all the info shared here---whether it is Mr.K, Berge, NROG, PPA, or some of the others who have contributed. Right now, this thread seems to be the best (perhaps only) online source for current info on what is happening. Hope that continues. As has been said before---it isn't over yet. It is a situation that will, unfortunately, require the sort of babysitting normally reserved for 2-year olds. (constant).

Milton...

Its frustration, my friend. We have dumped a lot of our personal money into this, we dont get paychecks and we're trying to let you guys finally hear whats going on in real-time and we take a beating every time we do. This and one otehr forum take a lot of life out of me. Not sure why I'm the guy doing it...I dont take bs well. Take the information and do with it what you wish. We have a very great team working to protect your rights and regardless of what we read here...we'll continue to do so. It would be a much easier battle with your support.

I agree with this. LAST week we went on a huge rollercoaster ride and Nrog's postings wer one of the main reasons. Mon - oops Frist is trying to sneak the bill thru. Wed - It's okay Nrog confirms it won't happen. Fri - Oops, Nrog calls for urgent action 'cause they were wrong. Mon - Well, no, Nrog says, "we were right after all". So what will happen tomorrow? I certainly appreciate the updates, and the information that Nrog is providing seems credible, but perhaps they could take a lesson from Alan Greenspan and let us know what is going on without using absolutes like "we confirmed it won't happen".

well...it looks like I've given you guys a lot to joke about for today. I'll log off now and try to forget this experience. For the record...Michael and the gang at PPA have been and continue to be a great team to work with in this fight. We are grateful to them for all the support they've given us. And we're grateful to the tens of thousands of you who have joined our fight. We will press on for you and hope to make your proud of our efforts.

Good day gents.

Default Stop self hype and ridiculous \"OFFICIAL\" claims regurgitating press

Simply stop the hype and premature exclamatory phrases, all of which seem designed to garner publicity solely for your organization and do nothing to advance "The Cause".

Skeptically viewed, it looks like you sit and read press reports and them regurgitate them in an "Offical" prose.

If you have worked the Hill, which a number of posters here have or do, then you know damn well there is nothing "Official" about your reporting or your unnamed source, nor are you a "MAJOR new publication", as yet.

Stop with the antagonism. You are lending nothing to the thread. You don't have to listen to the NROG updates if you don't want to. Others here want to here from them. Stop acting like an ass.
