Degen why do you keep posting retarded hands and then insulting 50% of people who respond to you?

[/ QUOTE ]

My thoughts exactly, but I didn't want to say anything. With Curtains by my side I am fearless though.

Villian thought for his entire time bank and mucked it.

Cuz he plays good.

[/ QUOTE ]
If it's correct for villain to fold here with TPTK or an overpair or other strong hands, then you must be a nit generally and you must almost never make plays like this. If you make this play more often than almost-never then it's incorrect for villain to fold a strong hand and he played bad.

havent read replies yet and prob won't, but honestly this hand is pretty useless to analyze without reads. is it standard? no. should it be? no. can it be a totally acceptable play given a specific read? for sure.

like is his lead a better hand you think you can fold? do you think hes doing this with a draw and youre protecting? certainly doesn't look like youre winning and theres no great reason that hes likely to fold unless you had one...

it seems a lot of people have replied with what would have to be guesswork.

You are biased because you can see my hand. Put yourself in his shoes. What would you put me on?

[/ QUOTE ]

I formulated my answer but looked at it anew with fresh eyes after you bias comment.

So…..

[ QUOTE ]

I think he only calls with the sets 100%, JTs 80% and QQ-AA he'd call probably 50-75% of the time.

[/ QUOTE ]

That range feels right with the following exception.
QQ-KK 40-60% I’m really feeling had and laying this down.
AA I’m a real fish so I’m calling 70-90% of the time, but maybe that’s just because I’m a fish…..

Overall I think the play was strong, independent of the cards you held.

also your read of him being a solid regular seems to be totally contradicted by how he played this hand. those bets seem pretty bad with any two unless he has some insane metagame system set up. which he doesnt.

It's just the fact that the discussion is pretty much useless without a more in-depth explanation of what kind of player the villain is. Do you play together alot? Do you have a history of running similar plays against him or at the same table as him? Are you positive that he knows about your play to a degree where he could call you with hands as weak as QJ and KJ here cause he knows your button range here could be very wide?

I think this is a very interesting hand and I would love the hear more about the thought processes in this and similar situations. It just feels wrong that you seem to have this attitude of "agree with what I'm sayin or gtfo of my thread".

calls with AA 50%-75% of the time? Thats the most absurd thing I've ever heard, more like 100% of the time. Whos folding AA or KK here with 1200 chips left and like 1700 in the pot, cmon. Also, calls with JT 80% of the time?? Jesus [censored] christ, who the [censored] ever would fold JT there I don't think anyone on the [censored] planet!!!

Seriously if you want to post a hand then fine, but don't dillute it with random ridiculous comments like that someone is ever going to fold top two pair on the turn here, while at the same time "loling" at peoples posts.

I consider that there is a chance your threads of late are simply big jokes to rile everyone on 2+2 up, if so please stop, its annoying. If your threads are serious, treat the people who are trying to give advice with more courtesy.
