This is probably the best advice, so far. If she is half-way intelligent she will let him into her former dark side. She doesn't have to tell him everything in detail. Just enough so that if some dick wants to confront him with his wife's past he'll be ready and tell the guy that she told him that already.

BTW, I had almost the same problem many years ago. My friend was in love over ears with a girl who had done half of the city already. The difference was that an engegement was nowhere in sight and that one evening when I drove my friend's chick home she tried to lure me into her house to add me to her list. Oh, and two months before at New Year's Eve party I slow danced with her and she whispered in my ear that she would like to do all sorts of things to me if her (and mine) fiend wasn't there.

I didn't bang her (she seemed to be a great fxck, though) and never told my firend to this day. But a couple of months later I suggested a deal to him to which he agreed: Both of us could bang the other one's girlfriend anytime but had to tell the other one about it.

To All- thanks for the advice.

I think my best course of action is to bring up the subject with Maria first. We have become good friends over time and this shouldn't be too tough to do delicately. By her response I should be able to tell a few things: if Joe has any idea of her past (which I highly doubt) and if the stories have been exaggerated (quite possible).

From there I will leave it to her to tell Joe if she hasn't already and let her know that her past will come out eventually. Of course if I don't like her answer I have other options.
