good call on la grange.

i would have picked twilight zone from golden earring.

similar to each other in brightness, a summer song - chad & jeremy and sunshine go away today - johnathan edwards are both fun picks for me.

operator - jim croce is sick in terms of instantly evoking a mood.

Hotel California is indeed a good one, but it might only be good because you're looking forward to the rest of the song.

Also, "Fly Like an Eagle" might be the best acoustic intro...
