I wonder how you get invited. A 100k buyin seems like a small price to play poker with legends on a popular TV show.

In Yukon Brad's interview on the Circuit, he says that he had won 4 or 5 hands before his straight flush hand (previous episode), but they didn't show it on TV. They should release a DVD with every hand. I'm sure Gabe wouldn't want to comment on it all, but they could just show it with the table chatter.

FYP.

Although it is more of a fantasy to have them release a DVD with every hand, I would love to just see HSP released on DVD in general (boots on ebay are guarnateed to be lame).

Even if it is just limited distribution (i.e. available only on GSN's website or something), there is enough poker diehards likes us who would probably gladly pay a $29-$49 price tag for full season sets (perhaps with deleted hands/outtakes included as special features).

I don't get it -- isn't every hand >> every episode? If you simply want every episode, download all the torrents->burn to dvd->done. Or record on tivo->transfer to dvd->done.

DVD with the option to turn off commentary and only listen to the table chatter would be awesome.

I think the commentators are god-awful, so I'd love that option. Better yet, they should have a commentary track with the players, that'd be awesome.

You don't like Gabe's commentary? Yours is the first negative review of his comments that I've seen.

I do think that a non-muted audio track of the table chatter would be great.

Yeah, a show with only the player discussion of random props would be SWEET.

If you hate the commentators, watch it on mute. Pretty simple solution, no?

3rd Season already. Damn GSN moves fast. HSP must be the highest rated show they've ever had, the way they keep rushing out new seasons. (not that I'm complaining)

As far as the last few posts about the announcers, Kaplan is great and even Benza is beggining to grow on me. My only complaint with them is that I wish they would explain the prop bets that are going on.

I wonder how the general public who pretty much only know about tournaments and not high limit cash games like this show. I'd say most of them are probably enjoying this. I heard before a lot of people say that the public likes the all in [censored]. Do they really ? I remember when I watched season 1 of the WPT and the post flop playing and I LOVED it and immediately started to dislike watching it when I started seeing more of the 'all in' preflop [censored]. This was even before I started playing poker online and was as clueless as most of the public about real poker.

How much of GSN's schedule is comprised of their own programming now? I'm pleased HSP seems to be doing well in the ratings as it's by far the best poker show on tv. Kaplan is great and Benza doesn't annoy me though I seem to be in the minority on that one. I would prefer to hear more of the table talk though.

Who do you want to see that hasn't been on the show yet (besides Ivey)?
