yugo,

do u have any dreams of quitting your job, moving to thailand, sleeping with a different woman every night and living off your online winnings or am i alone in this?

[/ QUOTE ]

Ummm not really. I think most ppl have some sort of dream about playing 3 hours a day without any psychological stress and making 300k/year.

I highly doubt I'd choose to live in Thailand for more than like a month.

Of course you're not alone, ...you're modeling all this off of your hero and consummate moral guide, degen, .

I just have one piece of advice:

Don't forget to take your many glocks!

Why did Congress investigate steroid abuse in baseball?

No idea....I assume it's b/c they all love baseball and wanted something interesting to think about and so they could interview stars.

Isn't that outside the scope of their power/interest,

Nothing is out of their scope of power or interest I don't think.

Do you have any opinion of me or my posts? Just curious, dont really expect anything with this question since I only really reply to lower limit posts.

I thought I seen posts that you were playing the regulars on Party? Was I wrong or did you used to play those? If you did how come you switched to the speeds now (or at least in June when you started again)

1) do you have a life outside the internet? and do you have freinds outside 2p2?

2) you stated you are neither yugoslavian or serbian, rather you are from oakland. from your many pictures with your 2p2 buddies that have been posted you look like you have ethnicity to you. Where are you parents from?

Yugo, why didn't you size up my e-penis? Scared of the girth?

[/ QUOTE ]
You didn't come to mind while I was writing it.

I'd say your epenis is smaller than what it actually represents but not by a ton. (you are pretty modest about things and a tad humble....especially considering it's an online message board that most ppl use to boost their egos)

[ QUOTE ]

Also, can you please regale us with how you wound up attempting to explain the concept of "ShipItHolla Ballas" to the older lady at the live SNG?

[/ QUOTE ]

Hmm....this would need to be a proper TR right?

Well okay I'll do a quick version or I never will, .

So I'm at some 125 or 175 live stt table at the RIO during the WSOP at some point. The line for it sits there for a while until a table breaks (they have no more dealers) and behind me in line is this older woman (SFB would have been drooling all over the place ) who isn't really too old...late middle age?

She keeps talking to me even though I telegraph some negative body language (), say uninteresting things, and ask some boring questions. Thus I decide to be friends with her and steer the convo into interesting things. It is apparent very quickly that she has no husband (dead) has a really retarded job that she doesn't fully understand (personal loan officer of sorts....) and sucks at poker and realizes it.

I give her some free advice at some point about how she shouldn't play hands vs. suzzer or me when our table plays. She internalizes this and I hope I draw the seat to her right, .

When the table starts our dealer is pretty much the greatest ever. He goes by "the church" () but doesn't allow me to call him "the chuch" which is what I wanted to do, . He did think a white guy saying "chuch" was funny though, wooot!

Okay, so he's talkative and the lady is friendly with him and fairly talkative with players at the table. At one point she asks to buy the dealer a drink (I thought about saying "the chuch is NOT for sale!" but I may have been in a hand or zoning out since live STTs are boring. He says "sobe adrenaline in a can" she proceeds to look at the drink guy and say "one...umm...*looks at the church* - what do you like to drink again" whereupon the church stutters a sort of "damnit woman, he's not supposed to know it's for me, are you completely insane!"

So she orders nothing and he politely explains that if the drink guy knows it's for him he'll get charged. Anyway, the drink guy comes and goes while the woman still can't get the order correctly in an unsuspicious manner. I end up ordering it from the drink guy and she DOES THE EXACT SAME THING a second later....yeah, that doesn't look obvious after what happened previously, .

Anyway, the church moves tables and is sitting behind her dealing the other table when the drink comes. Now she has to discretely give it to him. I show her how but setting my drink next to our current dealer (who I have discretely learned enjoys the sobe adrenaline drink quite a bit). She finally follows suit after intentionally dropping her jacket, declaring "oh my I have dropped my jacket" and then practicaally falling on the floor to set the can next to the church.

The other awesome thing about this chick is I mention that the shipithollaballas are all still alive in the WSOP event running at the time and she says "the shivas? are these guys jewish! that is very interesting." So I have to explain that, no, they are simply a group of v good and young online poker pros who live in a big house and yell "ship it holla" alot. To which she replies "shivas? but they aren't jewish..."

Guh.....remind me never to rob a bank with her. Or do anything with her that invovles her having a modicum of preceptional skill.

Our main account in Irvine is Verizon Wireless. We handle all of their advertising for the west area (Hawaii, wash, ca, nv, some other crappy states) that doesn't involve TV.

Most of the stuff you see in stores, on billboards, are handed or whatever we have produced.

[/ QUOTE ]

1. Does "some other crappy states" include Colorado?

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, we handle CO.

[ QUOTE ]

2. What are the chances they'll change their slogan?

[/ QUOTE ]
Very slim. I know it will be hard to imagine but it was painful and very difficult for them to change their "we never stop working for you" and "can you hear me now" stuff to that in the first place. It was also very recent in Verizon's eyes so we're stuck with it for a while.

Frankly, it's not bad, they need to own something and owning the best network is solid. Since they are incapable of doing anything turly pioneering it is much better than it seems.
[ QUOTE ]

"There's only one reason to choose a wireless company - it's the network!" makes me feel like once I signed up they stopped caring about me as a customer. Calling up with any issues confirms it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah I don't like what that implies either. They need a line that says "network is most important" without also saying that nothing else is important.

FWIW they are rolling out a new cool phone right now called "chocolate."

Of course the campaign sucks. I came up with at least 2 much more awesome ideas in like 30 minutes with my art director buddy. Also strategically their approach to the chocolate phone is flawed but it likely will succeed anyway b/c it looks like an iPOD.

lol I'm going to get some free advice, because I think you give good advice

Muck this crap? - I did in this case.

I used to limp

Raise it? - if so what's the plan for the hand...

1) If re-raised PF = fold?

If you missed the flop out of position

do you lead out c-bet it or check/raise or check/fold?

OESD on flop - what's your line? = Check/raise all-in?

I fold this hand. I know of some v good posters who may disagree.

My biggest problem with AJ is it's mainly only good for stealing the blinds and getting HU as an allin hand. It's very difficult to extract value postflop with it as AK and AQ rape you a ton more than you rape AT/A9/A8. It really only extracts value from pps when the J comes.

So, I am not thrilled about being called in one, two, or three spots (all very possible being utg on a random table). I don't expect to steal the blinds enough here since most ppl have no clue about position anyway and I also can't stand an allin raise without a decent read.

If I have AQ here I likely raise b/c of it's better properties vs. calling ranges postflop. I raise 99 here too but think I fold 88 (again due to postflop stuff also). Oh all of these hands handle calling an allin much better if you decide your opponent is being quite aggro.

I never limp this hand here that is not the way to play it.

Your HH is all weird....looks like you folded preflop which would make this hand very difficult to play. Or the flop pot is 400 (you, utg+1, sb, bb) and utg bets lets say 100 in that situation after you've *all* checked.

I'm liable to make a raise to maybe t700 (pot is t600 at this point and potting it would be 800). This also allows for me to bet 1/2 the rest of my stack on the turn and river in order to get allin and induce calling since the bets are so weak compared to the pot size.

The betting patterns indicate you likely won't get action but also won't get paid off by slow playing. Also that board allows a lot of 2pr that others could be slowplaying or other nonsense that will go all the way with you here.
