I mentioned the Pilot episode in the OP:

OK, just rewatched the it as part of the train up for tonight. The only discrepancy I caught was that the stewardess who serves Jack the vodka runs to the front of the plane as it begins to break apart. However, she strangely winds up with the Tailies and is abducted on the trip back to reunite with the main body of survivors.

Also, did anyone catch the lit cigarette in the Pearl hatch when Locke/Ekko went down a few weeks ago? Could it be Desmond went there after abandoning the Swan hatch (remember in his notes there's a scribble about 108 minutes being not enough time to travel to the ? or Pearl Hatch) With Jack/Locke taking over, it was the perfect opportunity for Desmond to try to find the Pearl. Does anyone remember him smoking in the opening episodes of Season 2? If he did, I think this is a possibility.
