I used to have a big problem sitting next to obese people, but that has been put aside. Now my problem is with really old men who stink. Not because they're old but because many of them smell so bad it makes my eyes tear. Just last week I had an older gentleman sit next to me and everytime he spoke it smelled like he was farting right in my face.

And loud Dykes, I hate loud beer guzzling dykes

This thread is dumb. Never hate anyone at a table who potentially will earn you money, whether fat or skinny. And be thankful you are not morbidly obese. These people usually live in constant emotional pain. Although some are gluttons, the majority have genes for obesity in their family and will be obese no matter what they do (Havent you seen The Nutty Professor?). Be more tolerant and accepting towards your fellow man. Try to enjoy what you can from a person and try to ignore what you dislike. As far as smells go, I usually dont find players to be that smelly, although once in a while I may find myself sitting next to a smelly player. Simply ask for a seat change or table change rather than starting a thread on 2+2 or deciding to quit playing live altogether.

You seem to have even less tolerance of other people and ideas than the people whom you are criticizing of not being accepting.

[/ QUOTE ]

There is a very big difference between not liking someone (there is alot of things I do not like) and saying people are fat and should do this and that. If there is one thing I cannot stand it is people who are general haters (like you here). Too fat? Too skinny? Too smelly? Too anything? Lets start a thread about it and talk some real trash! That will make things better now would it not? I feel sorry for most of you, the fat/ugly/short whatever you are critizising might not have had a good life (much thanks to people like you) but you on the other hand have to live a life full of hate. I just hope one day you will all understand how bad human beings you realy are.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why am I a general hater?
Are your reading skills lacking?
I haven't even mentioned ANYTHING about overweight people yet you keep reacting as if I have.
I don't particularly care for people who are really smelly being really close to me for fairly long periods of time.

It's unpleasant. And I think it's unhealthy, especially if it's a matter of them dropping smelly stink-bombs all night.

I have stated no problems with fat, skinny or short people.
Hell, I'm short and I actually don't hate myself.
Nor do I really hate many other people actually.

go back and read my posts before you accuse me YET AGAIN of hating overweight people when I have NEVER said such a thing.

All this nonsense of "you OTOH have to live a life full of hate. I just hope one day you will all understand what bad human beings you really are."

While you disagreed with my previous assertion by saying 'there is a big difference between not liking someone' I still have to say that you seem to be the one with more hate than almost anyone else in this thread (including Tom and is whole rant about wanting to injure fat people who continue to eat bad foods).

I have nothing against people who are overweight. But if you're inconveniencing people around you, maybe you should go back to the internet. Obesity is not a disability like a wheelchair. It's understood that peoples' disabilities might be an inconvenience. But obesity is a choice. If you choose to live your life that way, fine, but don't make my life harder because of it.

[/ QUOTE ]

I am in a wheelchair, and it really bothers me that being fat is considered reason to take my parking space up front. Especially when I need to get inside and gamble. Also, I know this not an original concept but, they could probably use the walk from their car to casino.

[/ QUOTE ]

This post really bugs me. I know from personal experience (family members) that some disabilities are not as obvious as yours. There are people with heart conditions, lung conditions, people who have had transplants, etc, and these people need access to disabled parking just as much as you do. My cousin had a lung transplant and for the 1st year afterwords he had a disabled placard and I can't believe the number of dirty looks I saw people give to him when he got out and they saw he wasn't in a wheelchair or obviously disabled. One lady even told him that she thought it was a shame how he was taking a space that someone else could use and she apologized profusely when I lit into her and explained his condition.

As for the OP, the quickest way to get someone to leave the table is just lift yourself off one but cheek and let loose with a big, smelly fart. You'll know you're in trouble if the 400 LB guy next to you takes a deep breath and says "just like my mama's home cookin".

[/ QUOTE ]

My post should not have bothered you, as I made no mention of other legitimate disabilities. Visible or not, permanent or temporary. Your loved one is of no concern to me when it comes to finding a parking space, if it is necassary for them, fine. I am quite capable, I just can't walk, and will find an open space to park, and roll my ass a little ways to get where I need to go. My gripe was with the person who has chose to use a personal flaw as a disablity. Born with the inabilty to eat less, and/or exercise more. Which somehow lead to a lack of hygiene. Hell, I didn't even say that I had a problem with fat people in general. I just don't care to have some slob sitting next to me at the poker table making me nauseous. So, please don't use my post as an excuse to promote your own personal crusade.

Funny thing about this entire thread is the only people at the poker table that I have had issues with taking up too much space have been thin.

you're fat.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes and you are a stupid ass. I have lost 30 pounds and two pants sizes but there is no evidence that you are getting smarter or nicer.

You have completely chosen to ignore the point of my post: YOU can't always tell just by looking at someone if they are disabled or not. Just because someone is fat and parks in a handicapped space doesn't mean that they don't have a legitimate disability that requires them to use it - even if YOU can't see it. I respect your concerns about non-disabled people taking these spaces from people who are physically disabled like yourself who really do need access but YOU are not the disabled police and YOU do not get to determine who is really disabled enough to park there.

But obesity is a choice.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah ofcource it is, just like AIDS, HIV, all forms of handicaps, sickness, addictions etc. Why don't we make what the nazis did and try to clean out the non-normal bastards and make a perfect world for ourselvs. We would all look alike, think alike and smell alike, what a perfect world it would be. Utopia for everyone!

You people have to be some of the worst people I seen around here. Are you even old enough for this forum? Your brains seems to function like a twelve year olds.

[/ QUOTE ]

As I read the OP, I wondered how long it would take until someone threw out a Nazi reference. It actually was longer than I thought.

Comparing your random fat fu&k at a poker table as being a victim of disease like AIDS is beyond ignorant. I agree with the Walken avatar guy (sorry, I'm a skinny lazy fu&k and am not clicking my back button to get your screenname) that the message needs to go to the floor person. There are some people who take up two seats. They should be accomodated for but it sucks to go to a poker room for what may be a 6-10 hour session and be seated next to some fat slob who (regardless of fault or perceived disease) cannot shrink himself to let you sit comfortably at at table. The airlines have addressed this; why can't poker rooms?

No wonder you americans start so many wars, you have no acceptance for other people at all. And you must be a perfect looking person right? No flaws what so ever? Atleast now you have one big flaw.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thank you for leaving no doubt that you are the most misguided ignorant poster on this board. If you want a history lesson, meet in me in the OT forum. First you invoke the Nazis and now assume all the negative posters are American. Your nationalism is as discriminatory as the discrimination you accuse others of. But in your mind I'm sure there is some rationale for that.
