question for 200nl full tilt reg's. do you find a lot of ppl calling your raises oop preflop and then leading for pot or near pot on the flop, regardless of board texture? this must have happened to me 100 times today. i gave up a lot at first but then realised when i raised they folded almost every time. also, wtf is with all the minraising?!? weird.

its funny how the average playing style at FTP seems to be very different to party. not rly better or anything, just different. im still trying to get my head around it, but tbh its kinda fun to be challenged by different styles, even tho a lot of them are donkish

Why would you play at all on FTP if you could play on party? I see the hands aisle posts on here from party, and it's like zomglolz.

there is no doubt party has a lot of bad players. but from what ive played so far on FTP, about 10k hands, its really not much tougher. and i see some baaad plays on both sites. add in the rakeback on FTP and from a profit point of view its much of a muchness.

edit: oh yeah, i forgot to mention. FTP software is more festive. feels like im playing a computer game

Yeah, the sites all have their own styles, it takes a while to adjust. The players get used to the style at a site and develop their game to adapt to it.

Lots of people pot bet bluff on FT which is really rare on Party. Nutter bluffers like to pot bet you when you show weakness.

In similar news, I got limp-reraised twice today by 17/10 nits !! I'm pretty sure that's always air from nits. I only had the guts to shove my rags over one of the two.

BTW IMHO Stars is a lot softer than FT but the lack of real RB sucks IMO.

jeezus christ! now im being told STARS is softer than FTP. im so confused. i think im gonna have to just play on all of them and see.

how about a survey thread re the differing levels of difficulty btw the big sites? it could be interesting to hear different opinions and to get ideas as to how the styles on each site differs

yeah there is a definite different feel between sites

i prefer playing ftp but party is softer and you get more hands in with the faster software
