I lost 3 buy-ins in 300 hands and quit because I can't stop myself from tilting after loosing a couple of BI's

Back to reading novels and useless internet pages.

LAG isn't neccesary about pushing ppl off hands.

If ppl won't fold QJ on a KJxxx board it's nice to exploit their strategy by not only valuebetting KTs+, KJo+, but also K2s+, K7o+.

[/ QUOTE ]

yes but how can LAG be profitable when you need to hit decent str hands since they wont fold a piece

I just answered that?

Against ppl who never fold anything, it's apt to play more hands, not less. Give up when you miss (stop auto cbetting every flop) and valuebet them to death whenever you hit something that's ahead of their calling range.

The wider their calling, the easier it is to flop something that's ahead of it, the more hands you should (provided that your goal is to play maximally exploitive) play to exploit their range.

LAG plays better as you are moving up, and you face people who incorrectly respond to aggression.

Also, if people never fold a piece, then good LAGs switch gears (OMG!!) and tighten up a bit, before taking them to valuetown.

its okay vs. short stacks and really really awful players in the blinds who will both call the raise with ATC and call c-bets continually. (i think). i much prefer overlimping or just raising the button smaller (ie. raising to like $6 or $5 pf otb). that way you can still isolate a bit while gaining a little control while still keeping the pot smaller.
