Thorsson sounds like he might kill himself. He's truly depressed.

Gold today has been very Raymer'esk in his approach to the final table. Huge chip lead, knocking out everyone and adding to it, catching good cards.

Obviously I'm not comparing Gold to Raymer, I'm just saying their final table arrivals are similiar in nature.

[/ QUOTE ]

Gold is running like 100/0 in pots he plays .. honestly right now AA is an underdog vs him it seems

Keep in mind that Raymer had about 5m at about this point in the 2004 WSOP and turned it into 8M+ by the final table. So, Gold is way ahead of where Raymer was at this point in the tournament.

Paul Wasicka raises $250,000 from middle position and Richard Lee calls from the button. The flop comes Qspade8heart3heart, Wasicka bets $400,000, and Lee calls. The turn is the 7heart, and both players check. The river is the 2heart, Wasicka bets $600,000, and Lee calls. Wasicka shows KclubQheart and Lee mucks. Wasicka now has $6,400,000 and Lee has $3,450,000.
