Peyton wasn't amazing, but it's tough to be when you're getting killed on every drop back.

WTF is Jared doing in the studio?

[/ QUOTE ]

Crying in his colts uni. He might go on tilt and start eating McD's.

[/ QUOTE ]

That would have been great if they would have cut to Jared and he was in a frenzy stuffing his face with McD fries.

How can you say Peyton choked away this game. I think the real chokers were the O-lineman of Indi. Just my opinion.

P. Manning 22/38 29 1td 0int (although it really was 2INTs)

[/ QUOTE ]

FYP.

Anyone who things Manning didn't play like total ass this game is delusional.

[/ QUOTE ]

He literally had no time in the pocket. Game is won and lost on the line. Indi lost the game there.

Sublime,

If I recall correctly (and I do, because I wrote them), my posts in the Pats thread, especially my last one, were COMPLIMENTING the Patriots on the way they played the game. Outside of that, I have a problem with people who blame an entire game on "poor officiating", especially when its just one call. Pats turned the ball over so much, the Dolphins would've won that game. I also remember saying last night that the Colts hadn't played their game yet, and that I wasn't getting too far ahead of myself.

Tell me I'm missing something please?

Most entertaining game of the postseason. Manning brought the team back, so all you sorry NE fans can eat my ass if you wanna talk about him anymore. Breaks for both teams, and what this comes down to is that the Colts started horribly. Pittsburgh took advantage of it and came away with the win. More power to them.

I just can't believe Vandy missed. Wow.

In summary: Classy Steelers fans, enjoy it. Any given Sunday.

Sublime and other NE fans who have nothing else to live for: Eat me.

I have a problem with this being a called a good or entertaining game

One team completely dominated and was much, much better

If it wasn't for a missed PI call early on and the Polamalu call, this game would have been a boring, methodical romp.

[/ QUOTE ]

hey man, the powers that be tried their hardest to give the game to the colts. it makes for good tv you know?

if tom brady was colts QB they win the game!

can't wait to see how that one is received

[/ QUOTE ]

Just plain stupid.

How quickly the "tuck play" is forgotten.

Not like Indy is a NY, CHicago, or LA team; the market for Pitt and fan base may not be much different.

Dissappointingly asinine comment coming from you, if you're serious.

We get it we get it, you don't like Manning, enough already. I get the distinct impression that a select group of posters out there would look at a 158.3Rtg day by manning with 6 TDs and go "Well he's just got good receivers."
His play was fine, the Steelers were playing well, they were ready, the Colts were rusty and came out soft.
Credit the Steelers, good game.

This idea that everything rides on the QB is a pretty naive idea - whther he wins or loses. The steelers pressuer on Manning was the key. Start there.

I saw Mannings playoff stats on another board - actully pretty good. There are 21 other guys playing too.

He did, but you'd be saying that either way.

I don't think Peyton played that badly. He didn't play great, but when he got time, he made some big plays.
