Right, I have just begun looking at profiles : She lives in london - Delta Am I setting the bar to high... [/ QUOTE ] As others have said, there is no too high. Also, I'm not sure about uk culture (I'm not worldly enough yet), but you would be considered a good looking guy in my corner of the world. good switch on the name...I think it helps the chase. |

"also, you listed athiest for religion." Think this is gonna be less of an issue in UK, but done all the same. As for the pic, good call, I'm on it. [/ QUOTE ] ahhhh, yes. I need to see more of the world. Athiest is a bad word when picking up young ladies in the US Midwest. |

there has been entirely too much gayness in this thread for this many replies, and not nearly enough trainwreck drama/comedy.
i would take the initiative myself (what with receiving messages such as "aw bored, well want me to come over tonight?"), but we all know how that turned out last time. someone make with the funny? |

no one responded earlier, my profile isn't showing up on searches or being seen by randoms, can anyone explain why?
I don't have anything checked off in the privacy settings. |

How's this for an opener? I'm working on being more myself [ QUOTE ] This "I'm just a girl who's learned more in life than I ever thought possible. I'm learning to live in the moment. Not for tomorrow, not for yesterday...but for today...in this very instance. I don't know where life is leading me at this point, but I do know im going to follow my heart." is sort of cliche don't you think? anyways what's up? [/ QUOTE ] Profile feedback welcome [/ QUOTE ] ok I got a response back from this one. I'm going with an approach based on confronting her BS, to see how that works. [ QUOTE ] wouldn't everyone say pretty much the same thing though? Plus nobody lives for the moment truly, to do so would mean living your life with no thought what so ever about the future, you couldn't save, eat healthy, you get the idea. This is what I mean by cliche it sounds good and everyone is going to say that in one way or another. How does one even really live for tomorrow or yesterday? They can't. But nobody is able to live their life as if future desires/worries and past events have no effect on them. It's not human, starfish and sea cucumbers live for the moment not people. right? I'm not trying to give you [censored] but it just seems like your trying to say something profound but in reality your not saying much of anything about yourself at all. ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Jen Date: Dec 12, 2005 9:12 AM It wouldn't be cliche if you knew me [/ QUOTE ] |

[ QUOTE ] From: Her Dec 12, 2005 6:18 PM you've seen RENT. wow, a god among men. :P i was only joking, you can ask whatever ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Me Date: Dec 12, 2005 3:17 PM Ah, I should have recognized it from La Vie De Boheme. But no more questions, I suppose. I'll refrain from asking the one that was on my mind, but I'm curious enough to find out what you wanted to dodge so badly that I'll give you a gold star if you guess right. [/ QUOTE ] Edit: Note to self. See Rent before seeing this girl (if this works out). |
