Look, at the end of the day people's disbelief in the story does not change the fact that it may be true.

Ive never met Brandi, or for that matter anyone else who has been a point on the graph in this thread, but i know i dont care if she is bad at poker, or is hyperactive, or is a whiny girl who id probably never give time of day to in real life.

This doesnt change the fact that the OP likely has a fair bit of truth to it. As someone pointed out early on, the truth lies somewhere between the stories of the two of them.

That said, ive yet to read the details of how Brandi took MNs 30K, or how he lost 200K somehow to friends gambling etc (a PM would be appreciated).

Anyway, my last paragraph in this thread is this:

If you do end up reading this far in the thread remember that I started out on your side. I sent you a PM expressing my concern for you and saying that I wished you the best. You have just gone the easiest route to turning your few wellwishers against you.

The poker community is not that large. A lot of posters on this forum have met Mark and have nothing but outstanding things to say about him. I only played with him once but it is clear that he is a stand up guy with his head squarely on his shoulders. When you were having trouble a few days ago he even bought you and your friend plane tickets home! How quickly do you forget these things?

In poker, ones reputation means a lot. Thankfully, your reputation means so little at this point that nobody will take your accusations about Mark seriously. I sincerly hope that you did not con him out of $30,000 but, if you did, remember that even after you stole money from him he did not come on these message boards to confirm it. He felt bad for you even when you were taking advantage of him and he did not want to damage your reputation further.

How did you respond to his kindness? How did you respond to the fact that he is so polite that he would not come on this message board to confirm what you did to him? You came on here and tried to drag him through the mud. That is despicable. Please go far away from the poker world and never return.

I'm not sure what the context of the backing deal was, but if it was a strict backing deal and mark gave her access to his account (why he wouldn't just xfer $ to a new acct that she created, who knows), then isn't it fine that she lost the $? I mean, anyone who has backed people before know that it's very often a losing proposition, especially backing her in games as high as 25/50nl.

Or is the allegation that she played above limits that Mark indicated she should play and lost a larger amount than they had agreed upon earlier? If that's the case, then it would have made sense for Mark to trasnfer out all but the $ from his PS acct that he was willing to lose on the backing deal.

It's not like she stole the $ and bought a new BMW, if she just lost it on his stake, there's nothing he should be upset about.
