Just drop Kennison for a kicker. Look for Scobee or Nedney

Like your team a lot. You're very strong at RB (WTF at Thomas Jones falling to Round 4? Great snag). I also love the Tatum Bell pick as he could put up good numbers at least while Kevin Jones is hurt. Kitna late is a good value grab. I'm not completely sold on your receivers as your number 1 receiver is a number 2 - even if it is Housh. I'm skeptical on Galloway as well as a number 2. Calvin Johnson has high potential so he fits well as your number 3.

Agreed about just dropping Kennison. He will float around the waiver wire anyways and you won't find yourself starting him over anyone you have.

12 team league. QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,WR,TE,K
standard scoring +
1 pt per 25 rush
1 pt per 25 rec
1 pt per 50 pass

Had the 7th pick in the 1st round. Draft snakes but repicks for position every odd round so in round 3 I had the 9th pick.

1 RB Joseph Addai
2 WR Marvin Harrison
3 TE Antonio Gates
4 RB Thomas Jones
5 QB Donovan McNabb
6 WR Reggie Brown
7 WR Mark Clayton
8 WR Braylon Edwards
9 RB Brandon Jackson
10 RB Ladell Betts
11 WR Kevin Curtis
12 RB DeShaun Foster
13 K Jason Elam
14 WR Brandon Jones

Been doing this league since 1989! Almost all the drafters are pretty good, not many players slip through the cracks.

TRADE QUESTION: 12 team league. 10yds/pt. 50pyd/pt. All TD's 6 pts. Start QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, K, D. 15 roster spots.

My Team:
QB: Kitna
RB: Henry, McGahee, Norwood, L. White, M. Turner, C. Brown
WR: R. Williams, Fitz, R. Brown, B. Edwards, J. Porter
TE: Watson

His Team:

QB: McNair, Cutler
RB: LDT, Deangelo Williams, T. Jones, T. Bell, A-Train Thomas
WR: CJ, Holt, Bennett, Ginn Jr., Jarrett
TE: Shockey

My: Fitz & M. Turner
for
His: CJ & T. Bell.

I could possibly try for DeAngelo, but with KJ possibly starting on the PUP list, bell will be the guy in DET. Thoughts?

Also Culpepper is a FA and I have waiver priority this week. Should I take a stab at him? Who should I drop?

How hurt is T Bell? You know he left the game the other night with aleg thing, right?

Re this deal, I don't really like it that much. I don't think you're getting enough back. CJ and Fitz are really very close to being the same guy.

If I were you I'd prob try to package Turner with a lesser player to add a bit of depth. Maybe Turner + Lendale for T Jones? I just don't think swapping Fitz for CJ will net you all that much. There are better ways to improve your team.

Xorbie,

Your second team seems RB thin so accepting that trade doesn't make much sense (unless the A.Peterson on your team is from chicago )

Also, can you trade with yourself? If so it seems like it would be easy to collude from the start. If not then that kinda sucks cause then some key guys are permanantly unavailable.....get some more friends

Brett, I'm new to this thread this year and I can't catch up on 800+ posts, but isn't Bell a pretty significant upgrade over Turner?

If he's healthy he should be. I heard he's looked great in preseason, and that offense is meant to be good. But he did leave the game the other night and Detroit has 2 other RBs who can carry the ball.

That said, if I knew Bell were healthy I'd do Bell for Turner straight up pretty quickly.

Yeah i've been out of town away from a comp for 10 days and haven't really stayed up to date on Football. I spent most of the morning catching up. It seems Bell bruised his shin and Marinelli said he should be fine for the opener. My concern here is if KJ isn't put on the PUP list, Bell isn't worth much. I thought CJ was a huge upgrade over Fitz, but I could be wrong. I had CJ as WR2 and Fitz as WR10. Although I see your point about maybe adding another RB. From what i'm reading about Dunn, having Norwood as my RB3 isn't sounding too promising.

Any thoughts on picking up Culpepper? Or another backup QB? Schaub & Leftwich also avail.

6 team league on ESPN, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, K, DEF.

We played a donkament for draft order so I got 1st obv.

I went:

1. LaDainian
2. Peyton
3. Laurence Maroney
4. Marques Colston
5. Larry Fitzgerald
6. Maurice Jones-Drew
7. Plaxico
8. Ravens DEF
9. Vince Young
10. Alge Crumpler
11. Brandon Jacobs
12. Calvin Johnson
13. Adrian Peterson
14. Braylon Edwards
15. Bernard Berrian
16. Olindo Mare

Peyton, Ladainian and Ravens DEF were all category leaders last year so I think I did pretty well. Thoughts?
