Sean that's pretty cool. I won't drive anywhere unless it'll take over 45 minutes or so to walk, it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. How long is the walk to work?

[/ QUOTE ]

3.5 miles.

[/ QUOTE ]
Respect. I always walked to school druring my time as exchange student and everybody thought that i was crazy for walking 8 blocks.

The old tetris trick, if you are having problems at one level, play a level higher for a while and the lower level will be a breeze

This doesn't work if you play well and are confident and the cards just don't fall your way.

I'm down 6 buy-in this week and not a single hand that I would have played differently. (OK, there is one where I value bet river and got minraised and then realised that no worse hand would have called my value bet.)

PS: I'm still quite confident and once the set-under-sets with PPs JJ+ stop I'll be back up in no time so all is good

Actually I meant it as a purely psychological observation, if you are playing scared money at say 100NL, while controversial ... playing a couple of hundred hands at 200NL might cure that (assuming that you are good enough to not spew like crazy and you are slightly overrolled for 100NL, so dropping a buyin or two won't kill you)

I used to have a hard time dealing with monetary issues at the table, but now when I talk about wins/losses/etc. it's always in BI's, not $$$$$$$$

it's definitely a lot easier on my brain to say I lost 6 BIs last night than say I lost $600
