[ QUOTE ] I guess technically, I’m still down money, but that doesn’t change anything. I could argue that after rakeback and VIP bonuses, I’ll be up. It doesn’t really matter though. I’ve recovered. That’s what’s important. [/ QUOTE ] WAS UP. NH PP. |

Furthermore, please be informed that we have withdrawn your PPMV Cruise Package and you will no longer appear on the passenger list. [/ QUOTE ] Sweet! A 10K overlay at the PPM V. This cruise package is getting better and better. What is most sickening and that I actually looked up to guy's like ZeeJustin. Well, I'll bet 100K that I never look up to you again. |

Who's gonna enforce it though. [/ QUOTE ] It won't be me, but there are going to be some others who are not happy about being cheated and may equalize things in the old fashioned way. The cheaters better be looking over their shoulder the next year or so. Names are public and it won't be hard to find them. |

Two important things that people might have missed:
(1) Just because he got busted with 6 accounts on one IP address doesn't mean that he wasn't playing with more. Any idiot can get a second IP address (laptop & borrowed wireless connection will do). How do we know he wasn't playing 12 accounts at once from 2 IP's? and 2) Where is that thread on biggest downswing in a day? Can someone put his 100k loss up there? Thanks |

Wow. This is huge. And to think, I came on here to see updated Ivey/Beal talk. This trumps that bigtime. I just perused "ZeeBusted's" site today for the first time in a couple weeks. He spoke about how great the new Party changes were or something. And that he was going to play the "super soft" 500+30's. 1000 of them. He had to have a pantload of reserves in his account. ZJ, if this is true, you've really let this poker player down. Say hi to Dutch for me. Side note: He turns 21 this year and is still presumably a good MTT player (?). It will be interesting to see how he is treated by his peers in live tournies this year (if he has the balls to enter them). -phb |

[ QUOTE ]
I think what they mean is, "Everybody in the insular world of high stakes tournament players that we like to associate ourselves with is aware that this is at least a reasonably common practice." I don't think they really care what players like you or me think, and so it shows in their language. [/ QUOTE ] Right. Exactly. You described what I was trying to get at very well. So I should hope that the honest and ethical members of that insular world feel some sort of obligation not to remain silent about cheating. I realize my suggestion was terribly imperfect, but I also realize how exceedingly difficult it would be for one of the members of the high stakes tournament player clique to rat out one of their own. I'm not necessarily suggesting they do that, but I wish such issues would come to light. Such issues HAVE come to light, and that's great. But I suspect cheating won't die with this. And that's understandable. But I think it's valuable to think of ways to curb such problems, and make sure that such issues continue to come to light. Right now, I'm suspecting the next cheating scheme will be a more tightly-held secret, and the dumb teens will probably learn their lesson and keep their mouths shut. I think it's incumbent on the ethical, honest, non-cheating players in the high-stakes tournament world to make sure such issues come to light, as it appears they *may* have known about this and it seems likely they *might* know about the next one. Perhaps we can applaud Sirio here. Although certainly anyone who knows about cheating schemes, regardless of the level, should feel obliged to not stay silent. |
