Im interested in getting like 2k on full tilt from stars.

If someone reputable can help me out (like orange, 42, Isura or AJ, preferably) I'd appreciate it.

Hand does not compute.
Pretty sure that they don't allow unlimited raises in a 3 way pot. I don't know of anywhere that does. Also, if it was NL why were all the raises min-bets.

Hmm. I just realized I have 45k hands of NL100 at 4 PTBB/100 and 44k hands of NL200 at 0.6 PTBB/100. Would it be better to move back down to NL100 to work on my game or should I stick to NL200 until I "get it"?

[/ QUOTE ]

There's not really a huge difference. I'm running like ~3 ptbb at 100nl over like 35k and around 6 ptbb at 200nl over a similar sample.

[/ QUOTE ]

it really depends, if you need the money now i would play some more 100nl and work on it. If you are fine grinding and trying to get better i would stick at nl200

Is 1000 hands on a player enough to get positional reads on a player. I was going through some regs stats on poker tracker and noticed they were raising more from certain positions than others. I assumed that they were playing tightest utg then it went up slightly as they got closer to the btn but this was not the case.

In short 1000 hands is a small sample size but is it enough to gather positional reads?

I'm not sure. I would say look at your own stats for 1000 hands. Are they acurate? You know how you play, do the stats represent that?

Ugh I've always had this problem where the first 100 hands or so I play I'm out of it and I play really [censored] and usually lose a buyin before I get my head on right and start winning. It makes every session so much harder!!

Yeah I know what you're talking about. I'd suggest playing really tight at first and then gradually open up your game when you get a feel for the table.
