[ QUOTE ] Scott, that was not an error. I had a reason for liking a jeremy lynch last night more than a boiler lynch [/ QUOTE ] no? maybe i misread then. [ QUOTE ] Ok, I think exactly one of the bram, zurv, boiler is a wolf. My order of preference for voting someone off right now is the bram, distant second jeremy (but I would really have to go back and re read before I felt comfortable about this), distantly followed by zurvan. [/ QUOTE ] you say one of bram, zurv, boiler is a wolf, and in the next sentence you give a lynch order of bram, jeremy, zurvan. how did jeremy pop in there? [/ QUOTE ] Because I think exactly one of three is a wolf does NOT mean I think think that they are the best three votes. For the math challenged, if I think exactly one of three is a wolf, no matter how I assign the probabilities, at least one has P <= 1/3 of being a wolf. |

[ QUOTE ]
Spook, wouldn't a wolf jsut pass his legacy onto another wolf? That can't be that important. [/ QUOTE ] we can/should decide whos legacy gets passed to who for example, im starting to really think fnord may be a wolf. if he were to pass his legacy to me, i would be more comfortable. this would also allow us to get more people eligible (if im understanding the rules properly?) as i wouldnt have to be actually voted into the electorate to be eligible later? we could vote somebody else in and get 2 for 1, right? |

also, i notice there hasn't been much discussion about the wdc thing. i think wdc has a very high probability of being a wolf, and i think he absolutely throws a vanillawolf under the bus in that spot if thbram is any sort of wolf and even sometimes when he's not.

[ QUOTE ]
I was actually considering the same thing right now... but it's been so long since he has played a long game that I don't even know what to expect from him. Initially I just assumed he was really eager to play again? [/ QUOTE ]bingo [ QUOTE ] ppl that should die today: chuckles bluffblank jeremy? ppl that have worried me a little bit: xorbie (jeremy's point about him was valid, although I doubt they are both wolves, so I'm content to just wait and see how things play out) iron81 (eagerly awaiting content) voj [/ QUOTE ] if you think jeremys point was valid, why wouldnt you have xorb in the to die list and jeremy in the watch list? youll notice I had xorb and jeremy similarly classified, but removed jeremy altogether. I think its much more plausible that xorb is a wolf and jeremy is a villager |

Scott, publically deciding and stating who you will pass your legacy to is just idiotic. First, wolves will say / do whatever the hell they think is in their best interest. Second, villagers saying this gives more options to the wolves. They can go first level and kill someone if their legacy is to a wolf or go second level and try to frame someone for balance. In general, tricky play is bad for villagers because we are already working at an information disadvantage.

[ QUOTE ]
Herbie, Yes of course a wolf can't just pass 100%. However, it doesn't necessarily mean the player they pass to is a villager. My whole point was keeping a wolf alive for legacy reasons is bad strategy. I can't see how that is beneficial. Clearly, if you are unsure you should wait. But I do not like the idea of "xxx is a wolf, lets wait to kill him!" [/ QUOTE ] Unless a seer comes out, and often times even is a 'seer' comes out, lynches are never 100%. Wolves will probably never pass to a villager, so why would a wolf pass to a wolf? If a wolf passes to a wolf, than the newly legacied wolf would not be able to be considered when a villager dies and passes his legacy. I don't think it matters so much if the wolves have 10% or 90 % of the electorate - just if they have 100%. |

[ QUOTE ]
I want the assassin to kill, just to get slim the field a little bit [/ QUOTE ] this post is very odd. it seems traz changed thoughts midstream, or perhaps had something typed out and changed it, but left an extra word in there. usually this is a sign of evil. villagers (at least i dont) type things and worry about how they sound and then change them. |

random thought: we might be better off electing some ppl today that got no votes yesterday, and those of us that got a few votes yesterday get voted in the next couple days. this way we don't have to waste lone votes on ppl to keep them eligible for tomorrow. herbie would be a great choice.
