which turbos are you playing? the 45 man or the 180 man?

i've been enjoying both lately, but not with the success you've had. Won a 45 man two days ago.

Right now I keep losing the all ins when I need to double up.

AQ vs his KQ, stuff like that.
So, once variance turns i'll be running like you in them.

The 180 man. Honestly it just comes down to good play on cashing, but after the FT you need to run hot to win, but its not hard to finish a few spots ahead of where you should. I have netted about 1k in 3 days of playing 20 of these. You'll obviously lose plenty of 20/80s (I lost a JJ vs 66 vs. 44 earlier today on the first hand of the tourney), but you can get to plenty of good spots. I made a FT today with 1 of 1 at SD and that was a split pot. You seriously don't even need to get allin to win these things, just steal blinds and take small pots.

I played 45 mans for about 3 weeks in May/June and won about 1 of 20 or so and cashed like 1 of 4 so they're all soft. I get it in behind very rarely and most of those are unavoidable so I don't really worry about it.
