[ QUOTE ]
it's because sitting in a darkened room as a teenager clicking away 24/7 isn't noted for its capacity to engender moral or ethical growth [/ QUOTE ] Add to that incredible amounts of money and adulation. It's not a pretty combination. I'm amazed if anyone can get through that with their head screwed on straight. |

If these guys were smart they would go to a cash table and start dumbing there chips to one of there friends. Otherwise there funds will get frozen and taken by party. I guarantee you that there are tons of players that are pissing there pants right now that either there withdraws go through, or they don't get caught. I have 2 accounts on party, but my original one hasn't been used in almost 2 years. I'm not to worried about Party freezing my account. I'm sure there not to worried about a little over a grand.

[ QUOTE ] Here's my recommendation (and I think we all trust Lloyd): If, in the future, anyone in the MTT forum becomes aware of widespread cheating occuring, they PM Lloyd so he can make an "official" announcement or something -- Lloyd can post something like "Attention: this kind of cheating seems to be occuring. Everyone should be aware". Lloyd agrees to not reveal whoever PMed him. I understand how complicated these situations can be among friends, etc. Maybe this way too alarmist, going over-board, whatever. But it sounds like genuinely good and honest people knew what was occuring and were in impossibly difficult situations. At the very least, it lets everyone in the community be aware of the cheating issues that exist in the games. I realize it does nothing for the masses who aren't 2+2 members, but I think this is at least an improvement. Hopefully people don't abuse it and PM Lloyd everytime they get sucked out and think they're being colluded against. Alright, flame away. I admit this is probably stupid. And my advanced apologies to Lloyd if he hates this idea. [/ QUOTE ] I think that's a good idea, as long as it doesn't turn into an unsubstantiated rumor fest. [/ QUOTE ] How could it not? If you have suspicions, this is not the place. Inform the affected sites ONLY. Don't post here. Don't IM your buddies. Don't tell your sister... Innocent until proven guilty doesn't work in this venue. Slander will be interpreted as fact by many. Why are we insisting on taking such a dangerous line? Commies and witches everywhere! Also..
I don't think "bad" of Justin for doing what he did. But I have absolutely no respect for him now after reading his reply. You decided to cheat and go caught. Now you come on here and make excuses for it like you didn't do it. You have alot of growing up to do young man. |

[ QUOTE ]
I am SURE that lots of people either do it, or have done it in the past. Unfortunately I don't know whom these people are. I feel quite confident that many fewer will. I am told from someone who knows others whom have done this, that they will NEVER do it again. First off its -EV, the +EV of haivng multiple accts isnt worth the risk of losing all your money if you do well. And no I won't reveal the name of the person who claims to know people who have done his [/ QUOTE ] At least that would be a good result from all this. |
