literally my second hand at this table. i don't see another way to play this. lots of worse hands call my bet, but very rarely do i run into a worse hand once they raise my bet.

Chaz, I don't see how u can fold a hand like this with these odds preflop.

On the flop I'm raising though. This is just a monster flop for you, you want to get money in the pot here. I'd raise and hope he shoves. Betting into a multiway pot signifies a lot of strength on this part. But your hand is ahead of pretty much anything.

Devin, I thank you and the others that responded to my hand. After reading that SNGers are killing cash games now, I'm either running really bad or I just suck. I'm hoping for "running bad."

Villain is JohnnyKran, hes horrible and ive seen him get all in pre w/ 22 and ATo for 100BBs, but he's not as terrible postflop. He has made some weird calldowns though. We dont have any really significant history other than i opened 87s UTG, and he c/c 3 barrels on a 6895T board w/ A9 after calling out of the BB.

I don't play 6-max, but I'm dying to hear your thoughts on this hand.

I guess my first question is this: Why didn't you reraise preflop? Your hand plays decently against his range, calling increases the odds of drawing in another player behind you and AJo is not a hand that I personally want to be playing 3 or 4 handed.

terrel, i would def 3-bet pre if we werent 300+BBs deep. If he 4-bets i basically have to fold b/c i have no idea what kinds of hands hes stacking off w/ preflop this deep, and i have to assume that his range is much tighter than 100bbs deep. Hands like AJ/AQ, JJ, and even QQ vs most ppl (id get QQ in pre vs him all day here)start to lose value in 3-bet pots the deeper effective stacks are.
