Soah - your argument about Bluff is convincing and well reasoned. I would add to it that on day one of Mallorean he managed to go all day without accusing anyone of being wolfy or making a wolfy post. He was a wolf

Books - I am totally split on how the assassin should proceed in this game - I just have no idea whether it would be better for him to fire every chance he gets or wait until legacies can be passed down. Both options have merit but I am leaning towards him not shooting, for a little while at least, being the better plan.

Chim - do you see the flaw in your "wolves just pass the legacy to wolves" theory? Soah says you always sound wolfy so I won't be too quick to pass judgment (but you do sound wolfy to me)

To stimulate discussion and to help guide those who feel lost, i'm going to post my current list. Assassin, feel free to use this as your basis :P

With such a gigantic field, and so many people posting useless posts yesterday, its obviously super preliminary and is likely to change substantially. I can't really call anyone wolves right now, but that'll change soon as well.

villagers:
Fnord
Herbie
Soah
traz
bram

leaning villager:
wdc
boiler
cpfb
Valenzuela
Econophile
Spook
Luckay
Mdd
Aaron
clown

players to watch:
chim
fmxda
chuckles
voj
amplify
scotthoward
Iron

players to REALLY watch:
mets
shortline
IY
Jeremy
Fcbl
Bluff
dmk
lc
xorbie

so if bluff's a wolf maybe iron is a wolf too. that last post by bluff's not helping his case.

also forgot to add lastchance to my list. at first i thought his mass role claim strat was just a lame angle shoot type idea, but if you look at the rest of his posts they are downright terrible, would help the evils greatly (assassin coming out wtf). also a few other posts that i'm too lazy to find again.

Herbie,

Yes of course a wolf can't just pass 100%. However, it doesn't necessarily mean the player they pass to is a villager.

My whole point was keeping a wolf alive for legacy reasons is bad strategy. I can't see how that is beneficial. Clearly, if you are unsure you should wait. But I do not like the idea of "xxx is a wolf, lets wait to kill him!"

Scott, that was not an error. I had a reason for liking a jeremy lynch last night more than a boiler lynch

[/ QUOTE ]
no? maybe i misread then.
[ QUOTE ]
Ok, I think exactly one of the bram, zurv, boiler is a wolf. My order of preference for voting someone off right now is the bram, distant second jeremy (but I would really have to go back and re read before I felt comfortable about this), distantly followed by zurvan.

[/ QUOTE ]
you say one of bram, zurv, boiler is a wolf, and in the next sentence you give a lynch order of bram, jeremy, zurvan. how did jeremy pop in there?

Here's my spreadsheet sans notes. It shows who is eligible to be elected at the dirrent intervals (X in the left most can be elected any time, X in the next column can be elected days 2 and 3) I think it is correct. On the right is a little score card of roles.

Chim,

Other wolf suspects include:
-Boiler
-Jeremy
-Iron

I would not be against any of those being lynched.

-------------

Thebram,

I am not faking seer as I dont do that as a villager. If I am wrong about you then people will have to either deal with me accordingly in their eyes or believe that my intentions were good. You made a post yesterday that rang bells big time to me. One of the posts you made today was almost as bad.

WDC,

I really think you would think more before making that post if you were a villager.

yeah, I meant to illustrate that him calling ppl out for making wolfy posts is something I've seen him do routinely as a villager (on the rare occasion that he has been one) but not when he's a wolf. I just forgot to include the other stuff
