you should only try to graph 50k hands or less on this thing at one time unless you have a badass computer [/ QUOTE ] blech, every DB I have is from a month at a time which is more than 50k hands.... well, @ least I can prove I'm running bad this month so far. |

I'm + by a lot from my EV. I'm definitely running pretty hot, but I think i'm more running hot by hitting flops than by sucking out, so I don't know. In any case, those calculators are completely worthless since they don't address hand ranges. So basically if you get coolered for a month straight, you could look like you're running hot in that thing because you suck out once or twice more than you should. Total BS.

a lot of running hot simply involves having your hands hold up when you're ahead

I wonder what you would say about the prog if it said you were down tons of sklansky bux
--------- but anyway, the prog has a "luck" tab but it's not developed. What I'd really like to see in there is a measurement of how many times you got AA vs KK and vice versa, how many times you got overset and vice versa , how many times you got overflushed and vice versa, etc.. |

[/ QUOTE ] Uh, I'd probably [censored] on it same as I [censored] on everything. Even what you're describing would not help because what if I correctly fold my lower flushes and you incorrectly call with them. Then it looks like you're getting flush over flushed more than I am when really I'm just playing better. Then you look and say that my results are better because I dont get coolered as often as you do. Why do people care about this [censored]? Some people are lucky some people are unlucky over the long run it will just about even out. Just play good poker and forget this crap. Some people are also given huge inheritances. Are you running life luck calculators to see how much your parents screwed you? |

Does that SBux calculator only calculate based on your equity when all the money went in?
If so...then shouldn't good players almost always have a negative number as their result? i.e. Most of the time when all the money goes in you are ahead. You are getting sucked out on a lot more than you are sucking out. |

[/ QUOTE ] i think if your average 70% ahead all in and only win 60% on this thing it will show your down. if your average 40% ahead all in and win 45% then this thing will show your up. yeah if someone could explain what counts would be useful. think it would be good after a long session to see if ran well or not. |
