Miles, shadow, at your stage of life you don't really know what you want to do yet.

Miles, you have some experience in the working world but I gather it isn't very satisfying. So look for something else that interests you while you're doing what you're doing now. No rush, don't think you need to take a month off and find yourself while fasting in the desert. Just think about it while you're coming home from work, or taking a dump, or buying groceries.

Shadow, I remember the self doubts I had as a young man. The main thing is that you experience all of the beats and variances to make the brags worth it. Most grads never get a job in their main field of study anyhow, so go for what interests you. It's all part of the right of passage for a young person. You're smart enough to call this current hand. Take one off and see what the turn is.

In my case, I was toiling in a field for 27 years that got phased out where I lived (Denver) and the nearest comparable gigs were in San Antonio or Kansas City. ( and [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]) Turns out there was an opening for someone with my exact skills in a software company right here in town. Now I work in Quality Assurance doing my best to try to [censored] up the programs before they are released. Basically, I am paid to be a manic deviant. I've never had so much fun at work.
