Just Pm the coords to me or to the person who submitted them in this case RJ. It keeps the contest fair while at the same time sharing the information with the person that needs it asap. You can't get points for finding someone you submitted to the list but you get points for everyone else you find so don't share the info with everyone till after March 20th then everyone will get all the data we found.

Everyone should be passing the coordinates of bases they can't attack along to those members of the alliance that can. I have been doing this for a while, and certainly not going to stop doing it just for this contest.

On the same note, if you are regularly being attacked, you should publicize it, especially if you know the attackers coords.

Does anyone have an excel map template I can use? I am using graph paper now but I think it would be easier using excel. I tried making a map template but i'm not happy with it.

I want to be able to highlight the grid coordinates in the fx box so I can copy them easy to send to ancient.

Here's a pic of what I do.
I did a screen split in the first row and column for the coordinates.
I color code mountains, deserted bases and member bases.

The member base colors are based on their fort level. I also put the most recent attack amount in front of the base name. I bold the name if they're known to be active, so I can easily spot where I need to visit.
I also hyperlink the member bases to another worksheet where I list out more detailed information about the base.

Excel doesnt allow a worksheet to be large enough to fit an entire map, so I broke the map into 4 parts width wise.
375W-240W, 239W-0W, 0E-239E, and 240E-375E
(Note there is a separate 0W and 0E, but getting to them isnt exactly intuitive)

I'm currently trying to work on a way for excel to put the data into ancient's template format, but being the excel neophyte I am, it's taking a little doing.

I got the freeze panes part down. Did you manually put coordinates in, or is there a formula to automatically increase it every cell? What did you put in every box?
