Another outlier to consider is the reasonable grappler (by reasonable I mean sufficient to get the job done for this question) who has phenomenal strength squeezing tracheas, along with speed and accuracy.
Speaking of the two latter qualities, after the OP acknowledges the importance of Bayesian methods for this question, I'll tell you some reliable anecdotes of what Bruce Lee felt about the following two questions (more reliable than the magazine articles which I never read, as my uncles knew Bruce): a) who would Bruce take as a partner in a streetfight over anyone else, no contest, he's very clear in his preference; b) who did Bruce consider the best specimen he'd ever seen that with proper training would become the supreme fighter? I guess you could ask his widow the first question but my answers are reliable for him talking to his closest buddies in the late 60s. Have you ever seen how fast Lee was, not to mention fluid? He could knockout a grappler before the victim would even know it. The answer to a) involves a man with incredible speed too. c) I some documentary made a comment about size, coming from Bruce perhaps but I am more vague about the source here... remember assume equal weights in your posts... If Colm does a bit of research which allows him to gain some respect for Bruce, I'll tell you a handful of anecdotes my uncle shared with me that I have never heard of in print (not that I looked, I'm not a fanboy). |

If they fight begins with an odd number off people it will start off with one guy who decides to either A-stay out of it or B- join up with someone and double team the rest till they too must fight to the death.
my guess is that the asian will either be the first one to go or the last one to survive. they are quicker and against no weapons with the same strength could ravage them all. If they wise up and gang up on him first then the asian probably wont be able to survive. but them all decided to take out the asian first probably wont occur to a bunch of bruits. however if 2 or 3 went against the martial artist he still may have a shot since he is trained to fight multiple villians. i just think 4 is too many. however most tuff guy types are racist and may decide to stomp him to death first for that reason and not for stragedy. |

My silly answer to this silly question...
The Navy SEAL would win. Not because of spectacular or secret hand to hand skills (all previous objections to SEAL victory were, as far as I know, completely valid). It's a matter of approach to what constitutes "victory". The various martial artists and even the streetfighters have one thing in common. They think winning the actual competition (i.e. personal victory over their opponent in a visible fashion) is the goal. The SEAL sees it as a simple search and destroy. i.e. INTEL: Your target will be at Location X on such day at such time (and expecting to fight you hand to hand in front of an audience). The SEAL's only objective is to eliminate his target- SO... An actual Navy Seal who was given this mission would spend a week scouting the cage and the arena, and then booby trap his opponents corner, conceal several firearms in the ring itself, and even more likely, have his 7 man platoon snipe his opponent as he was getting into his car on the way to the match. Or just rig the car seat/dressing room/opponents cornerman (probably all 3) to explode. Actually fighting? Not nearly as effective as being proactive. The ref would likely be booby trapped as well, and event security replaced by team members. It's quite likely noone would even hear why the fight was "cancelled". So in short, we will never know, since while we were talking about it, his SEAL team was rigging our cars, houses, workplaces and routes of commute with Claymores, setting up ambush positions and generally just painting us with a laser so that a smart bomb dropped by a plane we didn't even see could eliminate us along with our entire dojo. I'm all in. Best to All- The Amazing Magnetic Skull |

2) UF champion and best boxer tie 3) martial artist 4) navy seal (hand to hand combat is just one of many things they focus on ) |

The Navy Seal would win, having actually been trained to kill people in the most efficient way possible. All the rest are only experts within a fixed set of rules.
The ultimate fighting champion would be the only one to stand a chance. |

read the thread morons. it's 1v1 no weapons no teamates, and SEALs aren't trained to efficiently kill in hand to hand combat
