[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, this is pretty much spot on. People hate and resent winning teams. [/ QUOTE ] It's a lot more than that. Colts are pretty popular because with annoying Colts fans are a minority. This is likely because they aren't nearly as trendy of a team to like as the Boston teams are.. therefore don't have as many bandwagon obnoxious fans. Nothing the true fans can do about it, but the Jessica's of the world create that resentment. Not just the success of the team.

[/ QUOTE ] It is quite weird as well to be envious of another person's physical location based upon what sports team is also located there. I don't think I would ever choose Boston over Chicago as a place I would want to live but truth be told I am rather jealous of their sports teams.
