It's a little hard for me to rule out that Teddy would not post about it if he had simply been caught testing out a bot on his Mom's computer or something. He would have good reason to post about it if he thinks he might get a little more info about how he got caught by doing so.

That's not to say I believe there is wrongdoing here on Teddy's part, but I think it's possible.

Teddy, did they say anything about the nature of the bot? Do they think it's playing for her? Instructing her on how to play? Broadcasting her hole cards to some bot network?

Wow, this is surprising. I'd always suspected it was Teddy's dad that was a bot. If it's actually his mom, that changes everything.

Nope, no info -- the email that I saw from Lee to her simply says (paraphrasing): Jeff showed me the evidence, and I am sure beyond a reasonable doubt that you are using a bot at least some of the time. Kindly take your poker business elsewhere. As far as my 'trying out a bot' or what not on her computer, we live 800 miles apart, and I only see her at her house once or twice a year and I've never played at her house (I don't think). I like a good conspiracy theory as much as the next guy, but everything I wrote has been true (although having my credibility called into question is making me wish I had not posted about this...sigh) I guess there's really not much else I can do now other than wait to a) see the virus scan results, or b) wait to see if Stars magically reverses course on this or determines it was an administrative error or what not (not holding my breath).
There really isn't that much harm that's been done here: my mom had been telling me she wanted to stop playing online for awhile, so if this incident has to be the impetus for it, just as good a reason as any I suppose...

You need to post the email exchange. In any other thread of this type, we always reserve judgment until we see the emails, you should be no exception. Stars really has no recourse to prevent you from posting it, and in a situatoin such as this, they should expect their emails to be posted for the public.

"1) I have told the entire story no more no less -- although I forgive people who doubt its veracity...I will be the first to admit it sounds kinda shady. Yes, my mom multitables the nanolimits...I told her to stay away from online poker entirely and was pissed she opened an account, and even more surprised when she asked me to watch her once when I was home, and I saw her 6-tabling on a 800x600 monitor. Anyway, I won't waste any more space defending the truthiness -- (and for the record, I also, given the choice between a 2+2'ers mom and Lee Jones, would side with Lee on pretty much any issue...when it's your mom, though, it's a little tougher)"

Man, this is the perfect time to be the "good" son and spring for two Dell 20 in flat screens for the woman that created you. 8 tables no over lap? Introduce her to Redbull too.

C'mon jman, that's so obviously inconsistent.

If you want to question this guy's character, why honor the supposed emails? After all, they're just plain text that can be doctored as much as his OP could have been. Same goes for any other thread in which the original poster submits emails as "proof".

How can anyone not believe a poster, but believe his plain text, email-looking things???

She said she's going to forward me all of the emails she exchanged with Stars support / Lee, so perhaps I'll know more after I sift through them.
Will keep ppl up to date.

Posting emails just gives us more info to judge the validity of a claim, not substantiate it's merit. Most people are bad at writing anyways. Even prop emails would be difficult for people to make believable. I don't know what to think of the topic. I would like to see emails though to help get a better picture.
