Best episode so far, just hilarious. Phil is really being shown in a bad light. Great, great TV.

Even my girlfriend, who knows little to nothing about poker, is cracking up watching hellmuth donk off 200k over the last 2 episodes. Kudos, by the way, to the guy with the avatar that's looped video of phil stumbling over himself to get all his chips in the pot when barry flopped trip queens to phil's top 2. I couldn't stop laughing at that reel. That moment couldn't have been scripted any better.

Is next episode going to be the last one? It was a three day event and they did five episodes for day 1, four for day 2, and three so far for day 3. 13 episodes total seems likely. I just hope they do another show like this soon.

There is a link somewhere in another forum that GSN has announced that they have renewed the show. They plan to film two 12 hour days of play and edit it down to 16 episodes.

Hell, they don't need to edit it for me. I'd watch the raw feed and just the hole cam. 24 hours.... 24 episodes.

"you you have JJ right?"

Half the f'ing table knew he had jacks! The waitresses knew he had jacks. Even Chuck Zito's bitch A.J. Benza knew he had jacks. Danny is good at reading but this was far from 'amazing.' You want amazing. Wait for the earlier Ted Forrest episodes to be shown again. Now there are some amazing reads.

Best line of the night. The mild mannered Buss even got in digs on Phil. Outstanding!

Everyone keeps saying PH is such a fish in a cash game...I can't see how his play would work in a tourney either. He's just been playing terribly, period, IMHO.

Yeah, Forrest is out of this world.

FWIW I think Esfandiari played very well throughout the show to date and I'm not exactly a fan of his.

PS lol @ Hellmuth

Daniel called a 9k pre flop raise with KTd. The board came QTrag, Antonio bet 15k and Daniel puts him all in having 2nd pair. Before he called, Antonio indicated he could beat AT but couldn't beat KQ. That's the point Daniel put him on Jacks. Antonio was the one who raised pre-flop, what's so amazing? The funny thing is Daniel's bet would have worked if he kept his mouth shut. As it is he got lucky and won the pot anyway.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm wondering why, when Antonio asked to see a card, Daniel didn't show him the King. Mayebe he thought he needed an Ace to represent TPTK to go along with his All-In. But later on he figured the King was good enough to represent KQ for the purposes of making Antonio feel better after folding. I'm guessing Daniel half sold himself on the adequacy of showing the King and went with a compromise Induce-Fold show. He was too focused on whether the King was good enough to show to realize he was making a blunder with the Induce-Fold play.

Or maybe he thought Antonio would read the Induce-Fold as a double reverse. Or then again, maybe Daniel was figuring Payoffs for his Sidebets.

Should have shown him the ten. That would really mess with his mind.
