i would coach MTTs for 300/hr same rate as i coach cash games, it would prob be easier actually. if for some reason you want me to coac h you i can promise you that i am sick postflop and texturally (just made that word up how ill is my vocbulary), i am terrible at shove ranges, i am good at spewing, i am great at telling you who is horrible but most of the time it will be explained by "theyre just sof ken bad i can;t sleep at night", i have access to a message board with comments and hh reviews by two or three of the top 10-20 MTTers in the past 6 months.

On a serious note joining WaffleCrush gives you free coaching, though we are very picky.

no it is completely relevant, poker is a game where great players at least make good coaches. And for them to hurt their hourly just to help you out for 50 because that's reasonable for you makes no sense.

[/ QUOTE ]
I think you misunderstood me. I'm not saying they should help me out for $50/hr because it's reasonable for me...I'm saying they should offer their coaching services at a reasonable rate relative to what proven, successful, poker coaches charge (and keeping in mind that they have little/no experience coaching). This has nothing to do with me or what's reasonable for me...it's about what the going rate is and pricing your services competitively. If the going rate for an inexperienced online poker coach is $300/hr then so be it. And no way, no how do all great players make great coaches...that's just not how it works.

[ QUOTE ]
Do hotels allow lower income people to stay in suites for cheaper because the 50$ means more to them then 500$ for some baller. Coaches are there for students therefore students don't get to control the market. If you want a 30$ coach go get one he won't help you as much as one for more.

[/ QUOTE ]
But the hotel is offering the exact same room/service to both people...so of course they should pay the same price. An inexperienced coach is not offering the same service as an experienced one (or at least the student can't count on it because the inexperienced coach has no coaching track record).

People can charge what they want...I'm just saying that somebody who has had some success playing poker for a couple of years and then expecting $300/hr to coach someone online is sort of...lol.

I'm not interested in coaching or being coached due to a non flexible schedule(work + family). However if any other successful MTTers would like to swap the occasional HH for review and discussion I would be interested. I have a 75%ish ROI over 1500+ MTTs. I started in low stakes and now play primarily $50-200 tourneys.
