Default Re: Should We Split The Forum? The Poll

[ QUOTE ]

So weird, in the past these polls, the NO vote won convincingly. This time around its the total opposite. What changed?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think in theory it's a good idea. In reality, I do not think it will be as good as people would want it to be. I voted Yes originally, but moreso only because I think it will benefit everyone. Like I said earlier, I don't get responses from people I don't expect to get responses from. For the most part, very little will change. No one is going to stop you from posting in the lower level forum, and people would even encourage it. However, this entire conversation will discourage people from posting in a higher stakes forum, because it's obvious their thoughts aren't wanted or needed to some. This is fine also. I would like to read through some posts of what goes through the mind of someone who thinks on a different level from me.

Default Re: OK! so the forum get\'s split, THEN what ?

ok, perfect world. the forum gets split. the elites get their owne area, what happens to the low stakes people ? who will be here to help us make our way to the next level save for a few benevolent high stakes players wishing to take a few steps off their high horse and do a few minutes of community service ? why even have a low stakes forum in that regard?

i voted yes to split the forum btw. for the sole reason to be able to see the differences in my thought processes and a high stake's player's thought processes.

There are several great low stakes players, they aren't going to disappear.

This is a good point. This will hurt the players at the 55s-109s or wherever the split is way more than it will help the $215 player who just wants 20 high quality threads in front of him at one time.
