[ QUOTE ]
tell him that ur wife hit the previous occupants car so he should move it. [/ QUOTE ] Why does everybody keep recommending this? Why not just be honest and tell him it's tough on his wife and she doesn't wanna ding his car on accident? |

google map screencap plz [/ QUOTE ] OK, I'm not totally thrilled about how the angle of this shot portrays my case. When the neighbor parks in front of his garage, it's DIRECTLY across from my driveway.

That picture makes me assume your wife drives a tank for this to be a problem, also it makes legal vs. non-legal parking look less obvious. (which is really just an argument for having a conversation with the guy).
And obviously don't mention the previous accident or take some stupid "lol women can't drive" angle. |

There's a sidewalk on my side of the street that you can't really see. Again, two cars cannot pass those parked cars at the same time, somebody has to pull to the side.
She drives an X5. |

X5's are tiny. i am personally confident I could get a uhaul out of that driveway with a car parking in the offending spot with very little difficulty. |

Wow, your wife must be a brutal driver for this to be a problem.

It makes it incredibly difficult to back out of my driveway, especially for my wife in her SUV. [/ QUOTE ] So, uh, how hard is it to back INTO your driveway, making it way easier to get out....... Ray |

Looks like parking in front of garages is the norm on that street.
Exactly how much space is there between the edge of the street and your neighbor's garage? Can they cheat in a little and at least give your wife a couple extra feet? I'm guessing no. They have to at least leave enough room for a wheelchair to get by or risk and ugly ticket. Also the obvious answer for your wife is to back into your driveway if she comes home and they aren't there. Much easier to get out then. |
