Old guys name wasn't Earl was it? If so, I know that dude but didn't know he'd play that high. I'm not sure Earl is 84 but he is old and does go to Winstar a lot.

ok...what grand opening? I'm going up on Monday and I was hoping that it wouldn't be completely slammed. Last time I was there it was a good 3 hour wait to sit at 1/2 or 2/5. I'm mostly going for the monday night tournament but I was hoping to play a few hours before and after also.

you had to wait that long since the new room opened? i haven't had to wait more than 20 mins for a 2/5, and usually sit down immediately if it's on a weekend.

The grand opening is Saturday May 5th and they will be giving away tons of prices,CASH and WSOP entry, all to players who are playing. Not sure about the time of all events but from 8am to 8pm Saturday all players sitting at tables will get one raffle tix per hour, these tix go into the hopper for a drawing for a very nice Infiniti (not sure the model) and I also believe this is the way they will be giving the WSOP seat away. They will also be splaying pots with $500 every half hour at random tables. Free BBQ, food and drinks were also mentioned.
