[ QUOTE ]
Kentucky is not North Carolina. They are not Duke. They are not Kansas. They are a very solid D1 program, along the same lines as Texas, UCLA, Florida, etc. This guy won you a freaking NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, took you to the dance every single year, and you think you deserve more. [/ QUOTE ] This is very, very wrong so is not having UCLA in the top echelon Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas, UCLA, and Duke are the elite of the elite EDIT: I might be biased as I graduated from the same high school as Kentucky's all-time leading scorer, but I don't think so. |

Bleh. I meant to put UCLA in the top tier, I just got excited as I was typing.
But I still don't think Kentucky is on that level. I've always thought they were overrated. Guess I'm alone on this one *shrug*. |

The same you could say about Notre Dame football. |

When I think of the 5 top elite schools in college bball, these are the first 5 to come to my mind. I will be surprised, however, if a couple of the elite coaches Kentucky tries to hire don't turn them down. It wouldn't shock me at all if their coaching search turns into a circus comparable to the Nebraska football coaching search after they fired Solich. |

Over the last 15 years: Kentucky bball >>> ND football |

Looking at Self and Kansas, I say it can go pretty far. |
