You still run them if your position warrants it combined with the number of players in the pot...

Absolutely EV by themselves, not to mention for metagame considerations.

He is part of the "Corporation" that pools their money to bankroll the blackjack games. In California, Casinos can't run blackjack (something like that) Some really smart person figured out to pool investor money and bankroll all blackjack games in the casino.
