There is another mistake in my post, can you find it?

But it's not ironic.

You should not start a sentence with a preposition.

[/ QUOTE ]

"But" is a conjunction, not a preposition.

Sigh...

This thread sucks so badly that I'm considering resigning from the force.

"You are still communicating, and paragraphs full of "IM slang" are damn hard to read. "

i would imagine most of us find it easier to read.

you don't feel badly about something, you feel bad about it. if you feel badly it means you perform the act of feeling ineffectively.

similarly, this thread doesn't suck badly. it just sucks. bad. except that it's awesome because i get annoyed about all of these things as well.

Also, ScottieK's post a while back, the one about 'giving up' on his nittiness, made me want to cry.

I know a meathead on another forum who consistently spells the word villain as "villian." Ugh.

Another grammatical error that gives me a migraine is the misuse of "than" and "then." Than is a conjunction to show comparison (older than I am), while then refers to a time period (now and then).

Read it. Learn it. Know it.

I had no idea about the "ly and the four senses rule."

You're getting booted off of Grammar Nit Island for lack of capitalization. Eff E. E. Cummings!
