**Boys night 3/6/07 Thread**

I also agree that Brandon playing piano will help... I personally felt a little justification for why he was a professional singer after I saw that.

I just got done watching here in AZ. My first thought is, "They are about to announce the final 12 and this is all you got?"

I try to rate them each night before I log in here and see what everyone else thinks. I only had one guy rated above 5 on a scale from 1 to 10.

The worst for me were Chris R and Phil by a mile, even worse than Sanjaya. Best was Chris S but that isn't saying much tonight.

My thoughts as they sung tonight:

Blake - That song was all over the place. Started off slow, picked it up a bit, then it got all confusing. He is becoming too gimmicky for me. He can perform but I don't think he can sing.

Sanjaya - Sings way too saft and has zero emotion. All of his words end abruptly as he can't hold a note.

Sundance - Performance was just ookay for me. His voice seemed almost too high pitched for that song. Not bad. Not good.

Chris R - I almost put him on mute. His version was so off key and high pitched I couldn't stand it. The only note I liked was the very last.

Jared - The song sounded choppy. It just wasn't smooth. It just wasn't good.

Brandon - I'm starting to think this guy just can't sing anything but slow songs which probably explains his song choices thus far. I think I was wrong about him. He is more talented then some of the others and deserves top 12 but I no longer like him to last very long.

Phil - My god. What was that. I actually DID mute it half way through. His only good performance this year was the the first week and even that was not strong.

Chris S - I personally don't like the song but he was okay. I think he has been most consistent and tolerable amongst the boys.

I'm glad we are getting to the final 12 simply because "boys night" is almost unwatchable.

I am shocked everyone wasn't picking up on how horrible jared was this week. Him and stacey are done this week.

DialIdol seems to like Phil, though I do think he should be gone this week.

I think my top 3 so far based on all three weeks would be 1) Chris S. 2) Blake 3) Chris R. 4) Chicken Little. Seriously, this would have been Covais's year to own!

I didn't watch the show, but I'm crossing my finger Jared gets the boot so I can win some $$$ from that Pinny prop bet. Same goes with Haley tomorrow.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't get this. What does his piano playing have to do with his crappy singing?
