wow, this thread is really amazing. How many of you out there think this is ok, let alone rational? Or to put it another way, how much [censored] do you guys take/have you taken over the course of your lives? for the love of god, I only joke about it, but are you really the Ritalin generation?

the posts from the guys who say how it helped them lose weight/suppressed their appetite are especially funny, except for the guy who lost a lot and gained it back.

even funnier is how no one is listening to the guy who keeps saying that ephredrine and pseudoephedrine are precursors to meth, because he's absolutely right.

You're right, some pro athletes' usage has been incredibly stupid, but ask yourself, would you do coke before working out? Because that's the risk you're taking, if not now or already, then some day. Seriously. Do you honestly think you can take this stuff on a regular basis and not be worse off for it? You might be richer, or better looking, so as long as you're not interested in longevity, I guess it's ok.

just because you can buy it or get it from a doctor, doesn't make it a good idea. /end sermon

I can think of many reasons why certain persons would become BETTER off using a drug like this over a sustained amount of time.

You can get ephedrine in Canada at any supplement store, for very cheap. I got 100 kaizen 200 mg caffeine pills for 9.99, 50 8mg kaizen ephedrine tablets for 9.99, and a bottle of childrens asprin for like 6 bucks. Twice a day I'd take 1 ephedrine, 2 caffeine pills, and a childrens asprin. It messed with my sleep schedule at the beginning, but i eventually got used to it, and over the course of the month it lasted, I dropped a noticable amount of fat. The asprin is to protect your stomach lining. It obviously has no thermogenic effects, that should go without saying.

Wrong. Why dont you at least wiki it before posting what you "think". He died from heatstroke.

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/baseb...uestions_x.htm

Belcher, a pitcher, died and there was some link to using ephedrine, but he also hadnt eaten for "several" days, was 6ft 2, 250lbs, among other things. If I sound pissed, it is because a lot of people had their right to buy this stuff taken away due to an over-reaction, and misinformed opinion from people who know nothing about the subject.

Yup you're right ephedrine the silent assassin took him out quickly and efficiently. It was nothing to do with the fact that he was seriously overweight, not properly hydrated, and participating in strenuous activity in unsafely hot conditions and not taking proper rest or getting any chance to cool down his insanely high body temperature. The FBI should stake out ephedrine's house and take him down before he goes after his next victim. Will someone please think about the children? PS - Mr. Ephedrine, if you do have to take someone out please let it be Mike Piazza. He's a douche. Thanks.

Btw I'm on my third day of ECA stack w/o the A. (You guys better all be right that there's absolutely no chance that aspirin makes any difference.) I'm only doing one in the morning, really just so I can get all the crap I have to do done before I go to Vegas this weekend, and also maybe lose a little weight. Nice energy boost but not something I'd want to make a huge habit of. I can see where a desk job and coworkers could get very annoying. Also I've never been a fan of taking drugs anything other than recreationally. I don't like to feel that dependent on something.

This is funny, reminds me of my older brother. He'd put any type of recreational, pharma drug in his body to get high. He had acne that he really hated, caused problems/stress, but he refused to go on Accutane cause "that [censored] messes with your system". Not really the same as what you're saying, but funny to me nonetheless.
