i played today (9x speeds) and it was aok. Your buttons problem would be different, maybe memory-related? Ours were totally specific to the speed SNGs.

Next time it happens grab a screenshot and post it. If it's a similar problem then the X disappears and the "You have action on other tables" thing messes up too.

Nice work MikeO, this has been a good example of a forum rep working the way it should.

Which part? The part where he said he was too busy playing golf to care about getting them fixed, the part where he suggested the problem was all in our heads, or the part where he said it definitely wasn't anything to do with the names of the speed tables?

Yeah he's awesome. Awesome like whatever the opposite of a fox is.

I heard that Venkat, the programmer that told MikeO there was absolutely no way the names of the speed tables could be the problem, has been promoted to Lead Programmer for all future upgrades. Now that is awesome!

He didn't say that. He said he'd passed the info along but didn't have up to date information. Would it help it to get fixed faster if he did?

He said the problem was restricted to 2+2ers, which was presumably true.

He didn't say that. He said the tech team assured him it wasn't that. Just because the Party tech team is incompetent, it doesn't mean that Mike O is.

Here's a couple questions - firstly, how much longer do you think it would have taken to get this fixed if we had to go through Party support? Secondly, what do you think Mike could have done that would have led to this getting resolved any quicker?

Mike isn't the tech team lead. He's a forum rep. His job is to pass our complaints along directly to the relevant team, so that we don't have to try to convince the monkeys in Party Support that we're not total drooling idiots. What they do with that information is up to them. I can't imagine how his job could have been done more effectively in this case.

Yep, I have to agree 100% with Chris here. If Mike hadn't been involved then I dread to think how long this might have taken to get fixed.
