i wrote a really long post about the status of my players and it was deleted by the green guys

It was a really really long post.

Seriously though if I were a mod I wouldn't delete that

pudge,

seriously though, there's things that mods have to do. we aren't given leeway wrt "oh but whatever it's harmless" on a variety of issues.

so um what would pudge be putting up against durrons modship? seems like nothing.

[/ QUOTE ]

Pudge puts up nothing vs. an unpaid job.

edit: sucka!

Random thought:

I don't do this very much unless i completely agree with a previous post, but what do people think about JUST quoting a previous post in a strategy thread??

I guess it helps to see that a bunch of people agree with a certain post, but once 2 or 3 people do it, is it really necessary for 5+ people to keep quoting it? Is it just a post count booster? Do OPs like to see the quoting?

COME UP WITH YOUR OWN THOUGHTS PEOPLE. I UNDERSTAND THAT AFTER I POST THERE IS NO MORE NEW INFORMATION TO ADD, BUT YOU CAN AT LEAST PRETEND TO SAY IT DIFFERENTLY!!

Idk, im just ranting. Anyone else think it gets out of hand sometimes?

EDIT: fwiw, im not saying DONT quote if you agree with a point, but once it gets to 4+ people...bleh, whatever. i dont even know what im arguing anymore.

how soft are the 114s on stars nowadays? the 60s? I've been on a pretty steady downswing since september (although I played almost none at all from september -> december, but I lost when I did play in general, sept, dec, and jan were all losing months) and I wanna play something to get my confidence up (and I don't really have time for mtts). So, how soft are the 114s? Is there still a huuuge gap between them and the 225s, or is that lessened? How many regulars per table on average? Are the regulars good (relative to 225 regulars)?

thanks

See my post a few nothces up. And actually I played that one because it was one of the few I saw without 2-3 2p2ers on it. And it was pretty nitty. Weekends and off-peak hours are better.

I completely agree. The only time I think it is acceptable is if the first few replies are from unknowns and a respected poster chimes in in that manner. Of course, I almost always give my thoughts in detail when I respond to a hand and I would like others to do the same, but that just isn't how things work out sometimes.

So I had this idea to go around everytime you made a strat post to quote it and that's it. Then I realized it would take way too much time and energy so I just gave up.
