I see nothing wrong with Harmans beliefs even though I disagree with them. However to say she isnt prejudice against atheists is rediculous. If she would NEVER vote for one then she is prejudice. If she said she would never vote for a black person then she would be prejudice against black people.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wouldn't either.

I vote for who I believe will serve the office that they're running for best and one that I agree with most on moral, economic and diplomatic issues. I have a distaste for atheism. So, that would make me highly unlikely to vote for one. I wouldn't automatically discard voting for an atheist, but the odds of me doing so are near zero. I have no problem with the people who follow atheism as I have many friends who are atheists. I just respectfully disagree with them.

Anyways, back on topic. Phil Hellmuth is truly the greatest show on felt. The clown of all clowns. I hate him, yet I like him.

Phil Hellmuth's performance is really puzzling. I just can't see how he can be as horrible as he seems on PAD. Either he's just deliberately clowning around to hog camera time, or he's just constantly overthinking it while trying to find a strategy that will work against good players.

Or you for not realizing this was taped a while ago when the vast majority of people not heavily into politics reasonably did not know who Obama was.

[/ QUOTE ]

Since when does one have to "heavily into politics" to be able to identify the only frickin' Black US Senator in the entire land. Especially one with the very unique name of Barack Obama.

Thats fine but not what she said. You are prejudging someone based on their beliefs and choosing not to vote for them. But youre not lying about it like she is.

Phil Laak is awesome, the most entertaining poker player for me to watch, besides Ivey.

Ive seen a lot of Phil Laak's cash game play, he is a verrrrrrry smart guy and top notch player.. The way his mind can analyze hands and what not is pretty incredible.

Also WTF is up with Helmuth I never have seen him play anything but weak tight, and when he tries to mix it up it reminds me of a bad 5+50 SNG player.

This weeks episodes are definitely the best so far, hopefully we get to see more of Jennifer Harmon if it werent for Esfandari being hit with the deck she should be chip leader as shes been making all the right moves so far.

Blah de blah, in my ears, but what was most telling is that many pundits believe that Barack will have a much more difficult time at the voting booth due to his name sounding middle eastern, and that was proven when Antonio said "sounds too much like Osama".

[/ QUOTE ]

In Obama's latest book, 'The Audacity of Hope,' one of his friends told him that he felt it was a shame that Obama's political career was over (or at least in big trouble) right after 9/11 because of his name (Barack Hussein Obama). He seemed to do fine since then.

There Laak goes again looking at everyone's hole cards.

Jen, as awesome as it is to see you post here, you shouldn't feel obligated to respond to idiots like that

My distaste for Christianity (and all of the mainstream Western religions) has grown quite a bit this decade. But I doubt we'll ever see an openly atheistic or even non-religious president in the next 20 years.

My guess is that Antonio has no interest in politics. There's a lot of smart people who simply refuse to pay attention. He is however a great poker player, particularly when the Lord Above keeps giving him great cards.

Phil and Jen agreed on an earlier show that he would let her see if she would let him see. He already let her see his AKs last show now he used his turn.
Laak has been hilarious to watch. Some of the stuff he says makes you laugh and then say "man he's kind of good."
