Echeck fees depend on the site. Stars, Bodog, and DoylesRoom are free. FT is $2 per transaction, because it's through Nexum. I don't know about any other sites.

[ QUOTE ]
What I'm really wondering about are which fees are paid by the poker sites and which aren't. Isn't there a fee for Instant eChecks? Do the sites cover this? I don't like the idea that everytime i move my $ around, i have to pay a whole 5% of it each time with epassporte. As I'm looking through stuff, it looks like Click2pay is the only one that is really like Neteller, without any bs fees. [/ QUOTE ] in regards to click2pay i then checked out their site... they had all these strange warnings about people "phishing" for your account log in info, and to be extra careful when you log in that you are not redirected to a certain screen... hard to feel too secure with those warnings floating around before you even open an account... does anyone currently use click2pay? |

[ QUOTE ] I can't understand why anyone wouldn't use echecks only right now, unless the poker site doesn't accept them. Echecks are fish and professional player friendly. When the regulations come out, we'll reevaluate the situation. But for the time being, the existing ewallet alternatives are not very attractive. [/ QUOTE ] the e check didn't sound bad so i tried the min deposit on stars (to set it up for withdrawals), they said echeck not available at this time... then i tried it on tilt, i filled out all the info including drivers liscense # routing # etc. the min dep of 50 came back denied (bank of america) then i tried it again with a completely diff checking acct at a diff bank (usaa) same thing, deposit denied... has anyone in fact had success with this method? i wonder if it could be my banks (they are pretty major banks) maybe the smaller ones will allow echecks? not sure what is going on... [/ QUOTE ] I've used echecks at Bodog through BofA with no problem. Stars' echecks are not available at the moment for everyone, it has nothing to do with your bank. Not sure about FT. |

[/ QUOTE ] Phishing is a major problem with every online bank account and payment service. This is not a reason to be worried about C2P. The reason to be worried about C2P is that they're a publicly traded company and will probably stop accepting US players very soon. |

(and i too am interested in how exactly a wire transfer works) fwiw, i'm more interested in withdrawal methods than deposit methods. |

[/ QUOTE ] yeah you would think so, i wonder if it makes sense to try and open a C2P account for a short period of time to use for cashouts.. at this point its got to be faster than the neteller delays or any paper checks directly from the sites, would you agree? |

A monkey on a unicycle would be faster than paper checks.

Wow, what a cocked up mess. FWIW I've used eChecks at PS for the last 4 months without problems (depositing or withdrawing - I use BofA). No fees, instant deposits, 2 days on the withdrawals. No clue how long this might last. At this point I really wonder how difficult it would be to simply open a non-America bank account...

I just tried to sign up for a solid pay account. After validating my email I got this.
[ QUOTE ] Our systems have been able to successfully authenticate your account data. A SolidPay agent will review your request and respond to you as soon as possible. In the mean time, if you have any questions or concerns, check out the SolidPay web site at http://solidpay.com or contact our support staff. [/ QUOTE ] I wonder if they're gonna call me or what. |
