Email from them :

Hello,

At 16:45 ET 01/01/07, the Full Tilt Poker servers experienced an issue
and are currently undergoing emergency maintenance.

We are currently investigating the cause of this issue, but rest assured
we will have the site back online as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

Regards,

Debbie

Like I said, they lose a ton of money not being up and running. They're more concerned about running then we are.

I noticed that both Party and Stars had a recent software update at almost the same time. If full tilt comes back up today with an upgrade I would suspect that they may be all be fixing a recently discovered software flaw/problem. When everyone needs to put out an update at the same time, and especially shutdown servers unexpectedly to do so, I think there may be a problem that needs to be fixed right away.

I heard a comment on a recent circuit radio show (found at card player) that UB had a software flaw that went unfixed for a while that would "cause players to lose confidence in the software/site" Anyone know what this was all about?

This is VERY bad timing for FTP to be down as it is now the perfect time to switch to stars (1/1) re: their new supernova, and supernova elite promotions.
