basic story is, guy has leaks, thinks he's unlucky, lots of people try to help him, he either ignores them or gets angry and argues with them. some people are mean about it, most aren't but he thinks everyone is against him. the more stubborn he is, the more irritated the good players trying to help him get.

Sure. Why should I care? Was this thread submitted on some "I hate FGators" forum where everyone has to educate themselves on FGators saga before attending the discussion? All I know is that people have posted about this childish vendetta thing on a forum that I read, and that is stupid behaviour, and I am saying that it is stupid out loud. You may hate FGators for a good reason, but the way you are representing yourselves in this thread, you come off sounding as the douchebags. That is just not very smart and you should not be surprised if someone responds negatively. I just happen to think it is generally good manners to act so that even people who aren't aware of your "backstory" do not immediately categorize you as an idiot based on your behaviour, no matter how "justified" your douchebagism is. If I see a thread where someone acts like a douchebag, or see a random person on the street slashing someone's tires, I am immediately going to categorize him as a douchebag even if I have not studied his life story in detail. Not taking my advice may not be a personal slight, but the things he said in the MTTC thread and in the chat to me most certainly are.
Either that or the dude is a rage-prone psycho unable to control his emotions and therefore not responsible for his actions.

If he hadn't done that, I might still follow him, but I sure wouldn't take it personally. I'd just sit back and try to make money from him. Unfortunately he's not the kind of fish it's easy to get lots of money from at once, so mostly these sessions turn into Clayton and I raising and 3-betting each other ridiculously wide.

myself, i have played numerous 200nl hands with FGators in the last couple of months while playing 1/2 nl full time and have gladly played him HU on multiple occasions. he plays so ridiculously straightforward that i actively want to have him at my tables.

unfortunately this got boring after a while (oh, 10 hands..) so I invite nath to join and we start 3betting crap like 74o against each other. hilariously, fgators does not adjust and plays maybe 4 hands in 8 orbits, open limping like three of them.

frankly, i see nothing wrong with this. i am having fun at the expense of someone who is an internet troll and against the basic "essence" of a strategy forum. multiple SSNL posters spent far too much of their free time writing out to FGators what he needed to do to succeed, and FGators spat in their face. This isn't just for me, it's for all my good friends in SSNL.

Do you consider me a bad person, Paul? If I come to meet you at the PCA, will you internally scoff at me? You don't even know me, Paul. And I don't know you, beyond the idle chat of an internet forum. I have had numerous spats with people over the internet, and have cast stuff aside in real life because, well, this is the internet. And every time that 2p2er has been a cool guy and someone fun to hang out with.

So I openly ask you to not so openly judge people on something so silly. When I meet u at PCA (ur hard to miss I have heard since you could crush my skull with ur pinkie) I will shake ur hand and prob apoligize for the drama in this thread, and I hope u return the favor and we can laugh over it while talking [censored] about nath, or something similar.
